  7. Well to be honest with you I don't know what type based primer he used.... Do I still sand even if I want to take it all off?
  8. Hey guys What's the best way to remove primer? When I bought my truck it was "saposebly" primered to paint but never got to that project yet.... I've been noticing on the bed rails that bits of rust spots popping through the primer...I wanted to grind it down but I wanted to make sure with guys with experience here....is there a best way to remove primer?
  9. For some reason I can't get the smiley faces to come up....this thread is worthless without pics!!!!!! Lol good luck man I know your trying to do a lot with just one arm
  10. Well not much if an upgrade but from the ugly two spoke wheel to this is well worth it
  11. Man I wish I had speakers. I will have to move the speaker bar or figure out a way to have it up there with out it hitting my head. I was thinking making a quick template with the speaker bar and the headliner. Similar to what the newer Cherokees have them set up. Under the headliner and cut out the holes for the speakers to fit in the bar itself. Hmmmm
  12. Funny that you mentioned that...mine didn't have a nut at the end. I just loosened the bolt and reinstall the bolt with no problems...some guys usually cut that cover when they drill a bigger hole for a bigger bolt and add a nut there
  13. I have a 32x11.5x15 full size spare under the truck...reeling it up yourself take some playing to fit perfectly...I had an issue where it would go up but hit the diff cover causing it mo to go up...I push the tire on the bumper side down so the other side where the diff cover is is over the diff cover then reel up all the way so it can fit perfect under the truck....
  14. Lol yeah it's pretty close plus I gota see how ima mount them with out killing my ears...plus I don't really have my music loud unless there's a song id love to hear... I've been riding so Long with out music for a few months that I've gotten used to the humble silence of cruising down the road with just me and my jeep.
  15. The only thing I hated about that ad or any of the commercials I've seen is that they out " it's worth a look". Why couldn't they say its the best truck in its class with leading championships in offroad, circuit, and style.... Idk maybe it's just me
  16. I'm sorry to hear that bud. You'll get another deal to come through *update* Ended up picking up a new steering wheel, a cherokee sound bar, and a cherokee visor. Was always wondering what was the issue with fitment with the Comanches and Cherokees and there's a huge difference in fitment...ill either try to sell it or keep it for a future cherokee project. Steering wheel Before After And test fitment on the cherokee sound bar Enjoy
  17. Thanks for informing me about the horn accessories...gota go back for a junkyard run to retrieve those parts
  18. Ok ill keep on a look out for the early model Cherokees iirc it was from 88-92 when they offered the dana 44.
  19. Ok cool just wanted to know seen a lot of them in the junkyard yesterday a d wanted to ask on here...love this forum thanks guys!!!
  20. Do these dana 44 axles fit under our trucks? I know the gearing are different and the perches but are they same length as the xj mj axles?
  21. Ok awesome...good to hear! I'm tires at the old rubbery cheap steering wheel and upgrade to the other steering wheel they made
  22. Hey guys How hard is it to install a steering wheel? I got the fact that I have a tool to remove the old steering wheel to a newer steering wheel...is it just place the new in tighten it down till its set in there? Or what?
  23. Awesome write-up. But I have a question. Would this be good also with the manual transmissions or just mainly the automatics?
  24. Could it be that the valves in the valve body are clogged? That's giving you the hard shifting?
