  1. Yes I pulled the fuses and all were in good shape... Indicators don't even show up... and where is this relay?
  2. What's up fellas I was wondering if it's the turn signal switch... Last night before i got home before running some errands my turn signals worked perfect...I got home and an hour later I went out to run some errands when I realized that my turn signal didn't come on... My brake lights work My reverse lights work My night lamps work and headlamps as well... Just my turn signals don't work any more... I checked fuses and none were melted... Could it be the switch? I can get one at my local autoparts for $30...
  3. It was in the for sale section....
  4. He got the stickers from jeepstickers.com
  5. That axle should have 3.55 gears if it came off of an automatic and 5speed axles came with 3.07s...So you have to either regear or get a front axle from an automatic to match gears front and rear
  6. I wonder since they have a similar setup with coil buckets control arm and track bar mounts... If they just bolt in....
  7. Well I went to go look at it and no rust in the specific areas you guys mentioned above but mainly on the tub itself..... 2 huge rust holes that he is currently repairing... Thanks for the info fellas...
  8. Hey guys I'm trying to help my buddy out that has a 2000 tj with a rear dana 35...it hasn't blown up yet but he wants to upgrade and I mentioned to him that a chrysler 8.25 is strong enough for his needs(doesn't go offroad) daily driver status with 4" lift and 35s... I know I know...everyone says 8.8 or dana 44... But I was thinking that the liberty axle must just be a plug and play axle I've search long and hard to find if anyone has ever considered swapping a liberty rear axle into one? Is it a direct swap? Considering it has similar brackets as a rear tj axle.... Any help and Info is greatly appreciated....
  9. What's up fellas So I put the xj up on Craigslist to see if someone makes an offer I couldn't resist.... Someone offered to trade a 92 yj. 2.5 ax5.... 4" lift and 33s...basically stock besides the lift and tires... What can you guys tell me about yjs that I should look out for??? Any advice and Input is appreciated...
  10. If you already have the roll bar might as well keep that and add led 4" pods on there... I love the set up front but you'd have to drill into the cab to mount the light bar with the brackets
  11. Wouldn't a degree shim help?? But an sye is always a future investment since you have to buy a new driveshaft anyways...
  12. If you go to Amazon and look for RE coils you can get a set for under $100 from 3.5,4.5,5.5"
  13. Or he swapped a Toy A340x into the XJ. Isn't this a rare trans to find?
  14. Try to find one with the external bellhousing attached to the transmission because they are hard to find unless you have much access to jeep parts....
  15. The pukegoat transmission if it's good now it will eventually either blowup or it will finally die on you...The biggest problem on these trucks are the internal slave cylinders that after a while they fail...so while the transmission is out most guys might as well swap transmissions to an external slave ax15 than having to drop the transmission in a couple of years...while you can do it from the outside of the transmission... Also, the ax15 is a stronger trans/deeper gears in trans/ and it's the reason jeep swap to the ax15 after 1989
  16. Huge difference...no worries about destroying it If you do get an ax15 try getting a94+ Cherokee/wrangler because of the external slave cylinder
  17. They got the 2.5 alternator with 200amps that's insane!!!!

  19. Since its been sitting so long and it may be a long shot but It can happen...Since its at its half way mark and it starts then sputters... the feeding rubber hose may have split open and since it sits at about the half way mark of the gas tank this maybe your problem... Before you add gas and go you may want to pull the sending just to check it out....
  20. I know this is an old thread but is this true??? About just swapping the shafts??? I didn't pick up a few 27 spline 4.10s 8.25s earlier because I thought I had to replace everything in order to put the 29spline shafts...
  21. What's the output to the cps sensor? That's probably what gave up on you...
  22. 33s....I don't want to go to high in tire size because I daily drive this truck a lot... But I do want to knock some power/torque back into it... I have an 87 2.5 and I plan on re-gearing soon, too. I run 31's. Do you think I should go 4.56's? I was actually thinking of running a doubler for more grunt off road and leaving the axle geara relatively mild for the occasional highway trip. That should help with a bit more power...Problem with mine is that I also have extra weight on the truck... I got the front winch bumper with the winch, my toolbox with tools, liquids, extra parts....at times I wish I had a little bit more power for wheel speed but a lot of miami is mainly mud...so flow and wheel speed is all I need....there's no rocks to climb unless your doing a poser pic but that's it....
  23. Tightened up the manifold bolts? Also grab some brake cleaner and with the engine running spray where their are vacuum lines to see if the idle changes once it does it means you have a hole in the line and replace it.... Most of time it ends up being the vacuum lines by the throttle body....
