I run the Pacesetter header on my 87. It's a nice unit and it came with everything need. No issues with the install either. I'd buy it again.

When I did the AX-15 swap, I went to the junkyard and grabbed shift linkage from several engine/tranny/tcase combos and used various pieces until I had the right set-up.

I agree with everyone else. JP had an article a few months ago on "performance upgrades" vs re-gearing. Re-gearing won to spoil the article for you.

I haven't seen that kit before. Be sure to post up the install process, and give us a good review of how the install went, as well as how it performs. :thumbsup:

When you replace them, use a grade 8 with "never seize".

Factory MJ leafs are pretty long and allow for some good flex. In my opinion your better off spending your time and money on something else.

My main reason for selling is the fact that I'm no longer welcome here at Comanche Club. :( Once I sell it, I'll buy myself a vehicle where I can be a welcomed part of the corresponding forum. Yes and no. $9000 is a lot, if the scrap yard offered me $9000 I'd take it, and watch it get crushed with a smile on my face. Okay, maybe not, but anyway I am going to sell it and I'd like to do it sooner rather than later. I've got a number in my head I'd like to see, but obviously I'm going to try to get as much as I can.
