  1. There is a switch on the brake pedal assembly itself Take the kick panel off you'll find a single wire and connector Switch completes a ground circuit
  2. The O2 should be welded in, I wouldn't rely on that clamp BS long term.
  3. I'm stoked! When I sold my Ford I took out the sound system. I had front and rear MB Quart speakers, JL sub, Eclipse head and amp. They've been stored in a box for years, the sub is gone, and the front speakers needed to be replaced. The rear 6x8s are in excellent condition and will be reused. I got to looking on ebay for replacements, the 'old school' MB Quart speakers were made in Germany, very high quality speaker. They were sold to Maxxsonics and are now made in China, from what I read they are $#!&. I found the correct NOS MB Quarts, been sitting in a box for 15 years, waiting for me and my MJ. :) Sitting in storage my JL took a $#!&. I've got a new Memphis Audio on the way. Head unit is being replaced by a Fusion mechless. My Eclipse amp should still be good. My 6x8 rears, GTG! and back to a matching set.
  4. If anyone is interested? Here is the dedicated BT in that Wagoneer. http://www.outofsightaudio.com/home.html Of interest to me since I stream everything, terrestrial is all but dead. That said, I'm getting a Fusion mechless in the next week, still gotta fill the space.
  5. It's not how it looks it's how they work I have the 500 black magic on the XJ, they will make your fog lights seem silly They will throw a lot of white down Road
  6. I've seen the black checkered just like you have without the carpeted back.
  7. The slide levers look different. Someone swapped, apparently.
  8. I've got a real nice black DeeZee I'll sell you.
  9. Yes I was referring to his a ax5
  10. For what it's worth As you may know I pulled it 4000 pound trailer through the mountains with my MJ in an ax5 for a year, probably about 20,000 miles, the clutch Never slipped and I put it right back behind the new engine it was fine
  11. Sometime back I read an article regarding heat Generation by an automatic, if I remember correctly the truck being tested was a Dodge Ram. Under load the torque converter was measured at over 320 degrees and the author stated 350° was not uncommon. With an already taxed cooling system, my last choice for Towing would be the aw4, not to mention the inability to maintain first gear. When I go small block Chevy I will be choosing the ax15.
  12. I highly suggest going to an external bellhousing and slave found on the 94 and up models
  13. Yep, there is, not his only engine either. As to 'lightening up to the ridiculousness', some people piss more money away on lunch than most of us earn in a week. Write these people a few estimates, you'll understand. I'm somewhere between grateful and irate........but then, maybe you take me too seriously?
  14. Class, some people have it...........
  15. Go here for pics- That's not broken but does look odd, why is the clutch side blued like it got hot???? Anyway.........87-95 will all be the same, XJ or MJ. 97+ are completely different. You'll need bushings, part number on bag, Quadratec.
  16. I bust my ass for a little here and a little there................. Does anyone ever question that amount of waste people spend on nonsense?
  17. I worked on an older one...........NEVER again. Hope they offer a good warranty.
  18. http://www.bteventures.com//mj1988electricalmanual.pdf See page 16
  19. BTW, you have not mentioned MAP. Might start if not connected but will not idle..........may not even start. You need to check all your wiring against schematic.
