We have the ADT sign. and I was thinking about picking up some fake cameras to put outside. Tigerdirect.com had a cheap DVR with 2 cameras that i was thinking about getting and setting up looking ant the doors, later on i can add more cameras as needed. my room mate looked up ADT price it was about 40 a month with a 350 dollar installation fee... but it did have a $250 mail in rebate. I forgot to pull some stuff of the MJ so it can't be started if broken into.

if they can hear the safety click on my 870 then i would be impressed. I have a nice little collection of firearms to greet any intruder with but that is only useful if i am there. this weekend i am taking the room mate out to the range so he knows how to work the guns... apparently while he worked for the Sheriff's office he did not play with guns much. he couldn't figure out the slide release on the 10/22 :shake: I removed the bolts on the other guns and have them hidden for now. my WK has a storage compartment that might be big enough to fit the 870 this way at least it wouldn't be stolen while i am at work.

looking into some game cameras to put up. My room mate was planning to get a dog after he finished building the dog house but now he wants to keep him in the laundry room... :shake: I don't know witch Jeep i want to drive to work now... the Comanche or the Grand Cherokee...

my Uncle noticed a guy trying hide in the bushes, looking across the street at my house. He told my grandmother who lives just the two doors down she then called the sheriff to do a drive by. She also called my room mate and me, we both left work and got home just as the sheriff arrived. They said they might know who it was but because my uncle did not have a description there wasn't much they could do. guess i will be locking the dead bolt for sure when i leave the house.

i know at the Air Force base talking on the phone while driving will get you a ticket if the SFs or MPs catch you. I hate it when people drive and text... I have been almost hit several time while driving or walking to the store in the parking lot! yes i have text while in the car but at a red light or stop sign. If I have a passenger i get them to read the text and reply for me. The biggest issue would be enforcing the law, and people trying to hide the fact they are texting and driving.

Trying to ues the XJ mounts would be a VERY bad idea. The upper mounts on the MJ are studs that run perpendicular to the long axis of the chassis. So do the stock lower mounts, and that allows the shocks to rotate as the expand and compress. The XJ axle mounts have the studs running parallel to the chassis axis, which would not allow the shocks to rotate properly. thanks, that is the answer i was looking for :thumbsup:

i knew the leaf plate was reusable, just dident know if it would be better to use the leaf plates or move the xj mounts.

I have a Dana 44 from a cherokee and plan to take it somewhere to have the perches cut off and new ones welded on. Will the Shock mounts be reusable or will it be best if i use the stock mounts?

IIRC the General Grabbers at2 did come in a stock tire size or close to it

i have general grabber AT 2 tires and like them so far.. they where about $130ish each at tirerack.com for 31x10.5R15.. here are some pics of the tread and the tires on my MJ with 3 inch lift.. But for a DD i would go with the stock setup. no lift, gears, spacers, or anything needed for bigger tires.. and better gas mileage usually

There are certain buttons you need to press to lock loads or pick up objects. Generally, if it has functions (like the wreckers) check all the F keys. They usually move the hydraulic components and such. (Or raise and lower trailer jacks) As far as locking loads or trailers, try the "L" or "O" keys. A quick read on the repository will tell you what keys you need to press to run the downloaded vehicle. I put a tach in my MJ, good ting too my speedometer stopped working with the new tranny. got a buddy with a gps to tell me when i was at highway speeeds and noted the engine rpm in 5th gear. tach are just handy to have

ouch, good to hear you werent hurt bad.

in 4wd full time I have noticed mine making turns. even out of the drive way i can feel the u joints. i was just wondering if it would help driveability in 4wd full time. i don't mind the u joints but if it starts storming while i am in the MJ i would rather something that won't wiggle the steering
