Parts truck I'm looking to purchase, located in MA. I believe it's a 4x2 with the 4.0. Guy is asking $200, so I am assuming it's got a lot of rot.

Inspection is required 7 days after registration. Title does not require it to be registered or inspected, AFAIK. But either way, inspection comes last.

We can get it titled in MA with a prior registration, if you have it

Ah, makes sense. Well, if you want to send the old distributor my way, let me know how much $$ you'd like for it. I did end up replacing the ASD relay but haven't had the chance to drive it far enough to have it happen again. I did get a spark tester that I can clamp somewhere so I can hopefully see through the hood if I'm by myself and it dies again.

Not sure where all of the Apple hate comes from, they aren't the first to produce a tracking device. Look at Tile, they've had a product in the market for some time now. My girlfriend used them before moving to AirTag. I'd be thankful that, if you have an iOS device, it does notify you that there is an unknown AirTag following you. For instance, we have one on my dog's collar, that is linked to my girlfriend's account. Every time I take her somewhere in the car, I get a notification about an unknown AirTag.

autotrader.com always you to set the radius to any, and it searches dealership inventory rather than private party.

You also don't need the delay for the headlights, either, if you don't want it.

Me, too! I can't remember--did you proactively replace the dist. or was there something else going on? I see @ghetdjc320 is suggesting to go with a 94+ dist., which I should be able to find OEM used, or aftermarket. Not sure if one way makes more sense than the other. Hmm, OK--it may have already been primed the first time, which is why we wouldn't hear it the others.

I purchased my MJ here from another member with a black interior, I think he was asking $300 - $400 for a pretty much complete black interior? It's in pretty good condition. Are you keeping the bench for yourself? I've got two black buckets I'd love to trade for a bench, and you're close to me in RI...

So, I ended up replacing the coil with a yellow Accel unit, but still having random shut down/restart issues. Had it idling in the driveway to get it up to temp, and it shut off as if someone just turned the key off. Didn't sputter or anything, just died. Went back in and turned it on again without issue, and stayed idling for the next 30 minutes or so. Today, while getting an inspection sticker, it wouldn't start. Just kept cranking and cranking and cranking. We had to push it out of the bay, and after letting it sit sometime while continuing to try to get it to start, it finally did. I'm not entirely sure if this sounds like a CPS issue? I know @kryptronic did a lot of work to the fuel system, but something still doesn't seem right. When the key is in the ON position, is it possible to hear the fuel pump? I did notice that while it was in the ON position, I couldn't hear anything from the fuel tank while I had my ear next to the fuel door.

After having a "doh" moment with one of the plugs for the ignition switch being unplugged, I was able to get a sticker today! Went to the junkyard in the early AM and snagged a rear view mirror with map lights from a Buick for $10. Will wire them up when it's warmer out--no real need for them now. I did end up mounting the mirror a bit too high, so now I can't pull down the sunvisors without hitting it--oops. Will move that in the warmer weather, too... works for now! But still have the random shutoff issues outlined here: I was letting it warm up the windshield earlier today, just idling, and it randomly turned off. As if someone turned off the key. Went back over to it, restarted it without issue, and left it running for awhile longer while I installed the rear view mirror. Went to go get a sticker, no issues starting it up. After getting it inspected, we couldn't get it to start again. Would just crank and crank and crank. Finally moved it out of the bay, and after awhile, it started again. Really weird...

I see the one up top, that goes to the left vent--you can see it in the picture I posted above. Haven't seen/found anything that would hook up to this, though... I'll give it another glance.

The parts catalog shows the crotch vent, but doesn't show how it gets hooked up:

Yep, the crotch cooler vent Hmm, the hose that goes to the far left dash vent is just a single piece, no "Y" connection. I wonder if it's the wrong one. Although, I suppose I could put one in myself.
