  1. no offense, but the 3d print looks like a Lego piece that a 6 year old was chewing on lol
  2. I need the vehicle to go off-road whenever possible with no problems, I also need a vehicle for it to be able to have roughly 1,000 pounds on weight in the bed of the truck and still be able to have traction and no problems
  3. in your opinion what jeep would be best for storm chasing? I was thinking about making a replica of jo's jeep from twister for chasing but not sure if I'll go that route yet. I have been chasing for a while now and planning on making a full twister themed convoy for certain times of the year (like the twister event in Oklahoma) and I plan on making jo's 1982 jeep j10 from twister as well as bills dodge, and Tyler's truck. any way someone would be able to send me a list of things they'd recommend for the vehicles to be as close as possible (will accept non chaser answers as well as chaser answers)
  4. I'll look into it, where is the pub at on here?
  5. you seem to know your stuff about jeeps, tell me, in your opinion what jeep would be best for storm chasing? I was thinking about making a replica of jo's jeep from twister for chasing but not sure if I'll go that route yet
  6. 100% have to make a tophat for it
  7. isn't there a way to convert it to hand cranks though?
  8. got this but there's more info if you need it
  9. what would you like to know? I looked it up
  10. how much for just the shift stick if possible
  11. i'd like to see if its close enough to what I'm looking for I'm planning on making a replica of jo's truck from twister and hers was an '82 j10
  12. in my opinion, I'd say twister, but I do meteorology so that's normal. the original twister is more realistic than the new. although on the first tornado, it jumped the ditch rather than stopping and lifting (as a real tornado would stop or lift before crossing, tornadoes can not cross deep ditches hence why they tell you if your in a car and can't get to cover, you get into a ditch)
  13. needs more America, get a paint job, make it red white and blue, (and secretly add some pink somewhere like the interior
  14. I found this online. if you scroll down it tells you it fits some comanche pickups (MJ) https://bjsoffroad.com/gear-shift-indicator-1986-1991-grand-wagoneer-j10-j20/?srsltid=AfmBOorb-SXr2FRQZRqZ6dzw9n2MVMUVzEvcYDxug63owsu-CcNQ2Tvm
  15. planning on making jo's jeep from twister, maybe I can try to get it if I have enough money, keep me updated?
  16. hence why I chose jo's truck from twister (although being a 1996 movie her jeep was a 1982)
  17. may I offer a suggestion of paint, a lot of older jeeps were made in a "military" green, you could somewhat resurrect that idea with your mj or you could make your own version of this paint job from twister (just an idea, you don't have to follow)
