the lowers i think are ok...i honestly wouldnt trust the uppers...find a used set of uppers and do the same thing you did to those lowers...then id call it good -
gears and lockers...lol
-
a buddy of mine has these on his YJ...amazingly hes dropped them directly onto rocks and never bent or shattered one....made me cringe and run for cover since i expected them to blow apart and send shrapnel everywhich direction...on road handling is quite nice...not to bumper and smooth

i have another d35 in my xj if ya want that one...its a verified d35.. :D

So i got a real funny story to tell all of ya...you will be very amused at the expence of my nieveness... So you all know that i have been on the hunt for a MJ d44 or an Exploder 8.8 to replace my D35 in my MJ...well today my buddy nacho came over to check out my new XJ and pick up some tires i gave him and we started chatting like we always do...talked about the SOA and longarm/shortarm lift for my truck and how i wanted to replace my d35...well he crawled under there and asked y would i wanna switch it out..i said b/c its a d35 duh  Well he goes thats not a d35 its a D44...i tell him that he is full of $h!t and that he told me it was a 35...well i crawl under my XJ and begin to compare diff covers and sure enough i have always had a factory D44 under the back of my MJ!!!! I have had the MJ for 3yrs now and never new that i already had one...I'm such a retard....

i have the rough country 3" kit on my MJ...i have the AAL out back and fit 32's with no problem...up front i have the RC 3" coils with my ACOS set a .5" and my fiberglass fenders and can fit 33's but i am only running 32's

could...what i would do it when you put in your max bid...make it a little less than what you have to spend and just ride it out...he has the option to not sell if the reserve is not met but some people will do it reguardless just to get rid of it
-
with as solid as it looks and being a pennsylvania truck...my honest thought is it could be 2500? i was fortunate when i got mine...was listed for $2200...stock w/no rust, a/c, p/s, p/b etc...bought it for $1500... :D if you can do what dirty said but email him so if you fall short you can still contact him to possibly make a deal...money always talks to some people
-
id do it...if the rust isnt to bad which by the pics doesnt seem to have very much if any id be all over it like cops on doughnuts by all means go for it

i did it on my MJ when my 87 pump and box were leaking bad...i got the whole setup with only 52K on it for cheap...its the last year b4 they changed all the bracketry..it bolts in and you can get it cheap w/ low mileage..not so much an upgrade but alot better than having to buy new pump, lines, gear box etc...already have an entire setup from another 97 that only had 33K when it was rolled :D

Well here are some pics of my new project I'm doing along side my MJ: My MJ chilling in the background :chillin: Specs: 4.0L, AW4, NP231J, D30/35 (3.55's)...2"BB...mostly stock w/ power options :D Mods to come: 4" complete suspension lift 32" BFG from the MJ (its getting longarms and 33" MTR's) flowmaster exhaust (similar to the MJ's) new intake 5.0 injectors open cooling system conversion 97 p/s setup ZJ steering Light rack off the MJ (custom roll bar being made) Protofab front/rear bumpers and sliders Gimme some feedback on it...Thx guys..

i did it and it was very simple and easy..i swapped the following and did it this way: -new 94 XJ radiator w/cap -new hoses top and bottom (not necessary) -new 94 XJ heater valve -all new heater hoses -i used my original pressure bottle as an overflow tank...just drilled the cap big enough for the hose and it works great...any questions just ask me...did mine 2yrs ago and my truck doesnt run above 210 ever :D planning on doing the same thing with my 90XJ

do the SOA and then use a XJ shackle to drop it back down an 1" or so...that could work
-
well i did this today working on my new XJ: the headliner was sagging so i decided to use my staple gun to pin it up 4 now...well i started with mine and it jammed so i borrowed my dads...well his is a reverse style one and i couldnt figure out why it wasnt putting the staple where i was holding it...well i was holding it and i ended up shooting myself in my left middle finger...i ran around yelling and bleeding until i went inside and ran my finger under water....lemme say its been about 2hrs since that happened and my finger is still throbbing horribly...but hey only one i can blame is myself....
