i'm looking at buying a set of used longarms. the only issue is they are on a truck whose mount is welded to the frame, so the mount does not come with it. what do you guys suggest for a longarm frame mounting system. I'm not in a position to fab one, as my fabbing skills just aren't there. I'm looking at buying one. clayton's looks good, what do you guys think? any other places I should look at?

i'm looking around for disconnects for my front sway bar. for those of you with discos, what are you running, and what do you think of them? i am considering buying used ones, will discos from a YJ or TJ work?

i recently posted a "feeler" post on a local jeep club board, cuz i was thinking of getting a new JK. i put $1500 on it without the 35's, no rear brakes, and an electrical issue. within 2 hours I had 3 people message me telling me they wanted it. I decided against the JK (for now) and kept the MJ (for now). so, i bet I could get $2000 for it fairly easy....

the place where it won't line up is at the downpipe, not the head. iirc, the HO version is pointed back more, where the renix is more straight down.

wow, that thing is nice. all of the bitching and moaning i do about ppl thinking they're MJ's are worth waaaay too much because they're "rare" does not apply to this one. definitely worth the asking price, if not more. wish I was closer, it would be in the driveway already.

wow, for $500 you got a major score there. good job. the rockers and floors on manches love to fade away, and yours are in much better shape than most out there. your front axle is a high-pinion Dana 30 with vacuum disconnect on the passenger side axle tube, t-case is np231, chain driven with 2.72 low gear. rear axle is a Dana 35. auto tranny should be an aw4, which is an awesome trans-very strong and should last forever, gearing in the axles with 4.0 and auto will be 3.55s. good luck on your project and keep us posted. you've got an excellent manche to start on :cheers:

good time to replace the rear main seal. i don't know what they are like in the 2.5's, but it's over 20 years old at this point, so you might as well do it while you've access to it. then there's also the seals on the trans and tcase to think about too i suppose...

anybody else think they got the mvp wrong? from what I saw, Justin TUCK was the mvp of that game. he was all over brady. the giants defensive line definitely won that game for them. i mean, manning played well, and had a great 4th quarter, but without the D-line getting at Brady so much, that game would have been a lot different.

oh, and just to sweeten the deal a little bit....i'll trade ya straight up, I won't even make you pay any extra!
