  1. Thanks for the tip.
  2. I know it's a long shot but thought I'd try to find one on here for my HO swap.
  3. Bump
  4. How were the turbine wheels redone? I have two sets in so so shape that I would love to get refinished and put on the old Comanche.
  5. No problem, just didn't know if it was my settings or board wide.
  6. I have the global settings set to Yes for PM e-mail notification and PM pop ups. I"ve received 3 or 4 PM's and no notifications. Not a big deal at all, just wondering if these functions are working. Thanks
  7. The work left to do is pretty straight forward. The axle can be had for $100 plus a few more hours work and you'll have it licked. I think I would finish it up, make sure it's a clean swap and put it up for sale. And if you decide you don't have to sell, all you hard work to date will be even more worth while. If you do decide to sale, check out http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/. Another great forum that's local to you. I'm sure you'll have plenty of interest in a decent MJ 4x4. Good luck and hope you don't have to sell.
  8. I love the look of the SAR truck!
  9. Any chance that some of the crap you flushed out got caught in a port somewhere or in the thermostat possibly, causing blockage, then dislodged or disintegrated? :dunno:
  10. Running an inverted three link set up now. The RE bracket will work with stock or aftermarket bushing/joints. Sometime the brackets are just sprung in, or out a little when new. Make a wedge out of a piece of wood and spread the bracket out the the right width (with a BFH), then install, or vice versa.
  11. Can't believe I didn't notice this before when looking at the window sticker. :dunce: Now to find a badge.
  12. Thanks Timmaay.
  13. I likey, maybe I can get a sign shop to duplicate it. Do you have a full size pic and maybe some dimensions you'd be willing to share with me?
  14. I'm in, put it on my calendar.
  15. Been there on my TJ except when the knuckle separated from the inner C the tire took out my fender as well. That was the motivation I needed for flat fenders. Nice truck!
  16. That things looks great. Looks like something the guys on American restoration would turn out. :clapping:
  17. There's a nice one on ebay for $15 shipped. If you'll ship me one of your good badges for $15 shipped I'll buy it. I'd rather keep the sale on the board if possible.
  18. Thanks for moving to the pub. I was doing 2 post at one time and got them mixed up.
  19. I'd like to find one of the tail gate badges, I imagine it may be difficult to come by. Thanks guys
  20. Control arms, tie rod, drag link and track bar are interchangeable, coils may be different length and spring rate.
  21. Did Comanches with the Big Ton package come with any kind of badge from the factory? There is evidence of a removed badge on the tail gate, just trying to figure out what it was. Thanks
  22. I need a "Metric Ton" badge. Mine was missing when I bought it. Thanks
  23. Your under the spell as I was when I first saw it. I can't take credit as this is how I got it a couple of weeks ago. I do like it though and thanks for the kind words.
