  1. @ExpatMJGuyWell that was like 10-12 years ago (yes I’m old), I think it was a two unit class and cost roughly $50 which was more than normal because I already had a BS degree. It ran the full quarter and was two hours twice a week.
  2. Just tried this separation method, worked great! If you’re lucky enough that your lights are slightly separated in places it’s much easier, one of mine was. Start at the middle of the socket side not the fastener side. I’m reusing the lenses, wanted to clean everything up. THANKS again.
  3. @ExpatMJGuy look at your local community colleges, I took a welding course there just for the fun of it. Learned everything from oxy-acetylene to TIG, not saying I’m proficient but I know the basics.
  4. Thanks for the write up, looks fantastic!
  5. This sounds interesting.
  6. He does but no plugs.
  7. Monthly bump
  8. Welcome, that’s been one of my favorite trucks on here! Congratulations on getting it and welcome to CC. Yes, please post its VIN in the registry with a couple pictures.
  9. There are 5 in Sweden all sold (or just imported by) by HARRY KARLSSON BILIMPORT AB, PARTILLE, SWEDEN, this is one of them. All military sales have been in Switzerland.
  10. PB3/QB3 are the primary/secondary paint codes: Spinnaker Blue Metallic
  11. This is a Metric Ton Laredo, top of the line
  12. Thanks, I should proofread better. But the link still works.
  13. The window wipes can be found at tramcherokee.com You can buy them ship to me and I’ll ship them to you, don’t know how much that would cost. Message me if interested.
  14. Will the stock switches fit?
  15. “We” think that is correct.
  16. That post said "This is currently the second oldest MJ a member has posted" which is still accurate. The ones in the spreadsheet without CC links came from the Chrysler database courtesy of Eaglescout526, so not posted by CC members as theirs or ones they've found.

    Water heater

I’ve had my tank water heater since 1995 (27 years) I’ve done nothing to it and it still works well. But I’ve been waiting for the day it leaks or stops working for the last 10 years. Now it’s just a challenge.
  18. I would keep it original especially since you are the original owner. Post up in the original owners thread and in the VIN registry https://comancheclub.com/forum/32-1989/
  19. I don’t know, but my guess is July 28, 1994.
  20. I’ve had that question into Cerakote for a couple weeks with no answer. If they don’t respond in a couple more I’ll try it out on a spare set and report back. I’ve used their headlight restorer on headlights and it did a great job (actually looks better in person).
  21. Perfect for your Eliminator
  22. Followed the Cerakote directions, just washed with dish soap to remove any oils and dried thoroughly. The before picture was after washing.
  23. Thanks @Gjeep that’s high praise coming from you. @acfortier I’m leaving them chrome to match my side window trim.
