Next I connected the the wires from the plug ends and trailer harness together. I didn't use the backup light, so I just connected the 2 wires from the body plug together. Brown: Right turn and brake light Black: Ground Blue: Tail (parking) lights Brown with white tracer: Backup light Grey with black tracer: Left turn and brake light

I made a plug n play 4-way flat trailer wiring harness over the weekend. I started with a spare rear body connector that I got at the pick n pull. And a 3 foot long 4-way flat vehicle end connector that I split the wires, twisted and heat shrinked.

I added a air hook up to the rear of the bed for my OBA setup.

Haven't posted any updates in awhile, been real busy between moving and addition of a little one to the family. Also started working on the ZJ again, 242 swap with SYE, and getting ready to regear my front.

The best way to get a true measurement for shocks is to go flex your suspension, and get full droop and stuffed measurements. Otherwise you are just guessing.

I wouldn't worry about it. Most good gear oils have LS additives in them already

But did they fit without modification? Or do you have a D44 from a TJ? The flange bolt pattern is different between a TJ D44 and an XJ/MJ D44. That's how I ended up with two pair of the TJ axle seal retainers. I bought a new set of alloy shafts and the wrong retainer plates were in the box.I don't think I had to modify the retainers, but that I was done 6 years ago so I can't say for sure. My 44 came out of an XJ. I would look and let you know, but I'm out of town till next week.

Since you want to go with chromo shafts, just get a pair for a Rubicon they come with the correct bearing retainer, at least mine from Alloy USA did.

Yes it is 2" of tire but you only gain 1" of ground clearance. For a DD I would go 33's, especially with only 4.10 gears. -

Stu's-offroad has a good write up with the retainer part number. If you want to save a few hundred bucks you would be better off going to a pick and pull and grabbing the backing plate and caliper assembly yourself. The swap is pretty easy. ZJ parking brake cables will do the trick for your e-brake.

I am very pleased with the Rock Krawler LA's on my ZJ. It's been on there 10 years now with no problems other than rebuilding the joints a few years ago. -
I would check the trackbar first. But it could be a number of things torque all suspension bolts, check bushings, alignment, out of balance tire

Google rough country and you should get all the answers you need. If you wanted to save some coin and get a good quality lift I would piece my own lift together. -

Good luck with that. I know the 2.8 I had was gutless with 215's. -
My local Airgas will bring in any model you want and let you test it out before you buy. It might be worth your time to check with your local distributor and see if they will do the same for you.
