Can Spell Comanche

Can Spell Comanche (2/11)

  1. Ewwww. To everyone else asking about making 10+ to get a mold done. He archer brother said"if you get 10 people to buy , you will have it discounted" It's at $500 for one. Which is obv at $5000 idk how he would lower the cost. Some shops are for money. Some are out to help others.
  2. Someone grab me that air damn I'll pay cash please
  3. If they make 10 there's a discount for the scca bumper
  4. Just called archer racing they have a mold 500 to make
  5. As stated looked for it for about 2 hours and no leads really want one. I kno the street one might be hard or easier since they only made 100 of them but I'm just looking for either or. Please I kno they are out there help my comanche look sexy
  6. Can you get me prices on. 1.tailgate. 2.rear bumper 3. Slider window. 4. Mirrors n inner triangles for the mirrors 5. If that's a roof spoiler let me know as well please. You can contact me by phone or email 914-557-7547 or driftingchipmunk@gmail.com please contact me back
  7. How do I find shocks that are shorter tho? Like do I just search at a auto parts store? N I'm playing on putting the zj springs on my comanche
  8. So I hear that rear zj coil springs will lower my front end, but I'm not certain how much of a drop it is. I'm looking to get about 1.1/2 to 2" drop. Also which shocks help it lower it. I'm looking to buy new shocks but also heard they sell lowering shocks. Excuse my stupidness I'm just new to trucks n American made cars.
  9. Mines broke too or they put a screw inside missing a bushing. Makes a horrible clicking sound
  10. My 89 comanche same motor does the same takes about a hour or 45 mins to blow heat n then as soon as I switch heat to bi level or bent it starts to blow cold or if I stop at a stop light or sign so annoying but I changed my thermostat n it started to actually blow so much warmer but it still is cold after time to time
  11. Those Cherokees come with springs in the rear?
  12. Find someone who does. Anyhow... back on topic, this is the route I'd go with. This topic comes up from time to time and this seems to be what comes up most. Ok so if I go to a auto parts store n buy rear coils off a jeep Cherokee I'm all good?
  13. Plenty of us VW/Jeep guys around here. I've got a couple aircooled, but I also helped my brother build his '87 Cabby VR6. Stupid fun car!... anyhow, you should really put together a build thread. :D What a small world in cars we love lol I want a Vw pick up so bad. Btw to answer your question it's not much of a build I got going. Just got two major things I wanna do. Lower front and repaint it with primer green n black two tone n a rear tail hate wing n call it a day. Also patch up some rust spots but I'm a 23 year old and I don't kno jack s*^% about welding so I might fiber glass it
  14. I used autozone 2inch blocks n yea Home Depot diy lip lol. Could find anything else to make it with. Really wanted that red comanche race car lip but can't find it I'd go the same route that so many VW guys go when making up a DIY spoiler use a spoiler or the plastic lower portion of a newer bumper. Maybe mid '90s Explorer or something similar. As for the real deal, unless you remove one from a SCCA truck there really isn't any other options. Might be one leftover floating around out there, but highly doubt that guy would be willing to give it up. :peek: I like the look of your truck. You should really put together a build thread. Thx buddy appreciate that. Btw I'm actually a Vw guy I owned about 9 n I have a nice mk2 golf with a vr6 here's a pic
