This has been on my bucket list, I saw it years ago but haven't for a while. Who did you buy yours from? How was the install? I need to rebuild by t-case and thought I would add it them. A few month ago I had inadvertently popped the vacuum tip off the CAD. Thought it was broke, but enjoyed 2 low for a few weeks when I needed it. great on hills and picking up debris.

whoo-hoo, grab a pint y'all.

Shoot , that's a good marketing tool right there! Park my truck (after a wash) and draw in the flies, then it's salesmen feeding time. May be on to something here.
-
LOL, my glove box is broke.....
-
Poutine....fascinating, makes me thing of something else though. Celebrate as best you can, I'll raise a pint your way!

LOL, my wife says the same thing about my truck, blah blah blah your a professional for cry'n out loud.... Although, I will say about 20% of the comments are get are from women which surprised me. I don't mind being my own demographic, I do feel invisible though, no body bothers me including the police...(knock on wood)

Just wondering what y'all experience is lately. With the new gladiator running around town I often feel like there is an elephant in the room. Can say I have seen but one wave so far from a gladiator driver. I'm looking but they're eyes are forward for some reason. The whole jeep wave thing seems like a farce of marketing. Used to ride MC all the time, and even then there was some folks you just didn't wave at, so IDK. Since my paint job I do get a lot more 'nice ride, don't see many of those anymore'. At least the buying offers have stopped. Curious what others experience.

hmm, yeah that is what I was hoping for. I know it won't be a Beamer as far as wind noise, but looking for reassurance. After this weeks heat wave maybe a bit less heat.

I have some dynomat for the floor, but its thicker and didn't want to cut the cab short for the roof. so I picked up 4 cu.ft from local car audio place. should cover most and I hope better than nothing that was there before. Just really glad to salvage the headliner. Guy at the upholstery shop had seen worse. Going in on Friday. Sucker is hot with no AC and no liner in there.

novanut1964 1987 comanche project

Gotta love dry climates VA has not been kind to my truck since I moved here. Not a salt fan..just saying. 108K, shoot, robbing the cradle on this one. -
I dunno, got mixed feelings on the Bronco. I like the attempt, major hang-up is the I.S. front and rear. Even with all the gizmo's still don't think it can out perform live axles. Sorta reminds me of a giant kia/toyota FJ cruiser with better field of view.. Folks seem to be hoping for better build quality from ford over the JK.

Hey Y'all, just got my headliner back from the reupholster shop. Question, is it worth applying sound deadening to the roof. lot of surface area. If I do, should it be the whole area, or just a section in the middle area?

Having just dealt with crappy running truck, Like the guys told me, check your grounds and get a gauge on the fuel rail. I found mine was only pushing 21 psi, would run but bad. Ground cleaned, gapped pugs, new rotor, fuel filter purrs like a kitten now. From sounds of it fuel pressure is my guess, since runs once you primed it.

MJ long wheelbase gas tank fuel pump
War_Pony89 replied to Buster Enus's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Good to know someone stepped up to fill the supply gap on these FSU. Anyone got a figure on them? Website didn't elaborate. Bosch pump was $69.99. The factory unit has that adjustable cap on top of the pump, this new one looks fixed, might be harder to scroundge replacement pumps if that is the case.? -
Y'all made me spill my coffee when I saw the phrase pop up again, get's my ire up!! Worst gimmick plan putting us in a bind today. Thanks Obama.

MJ long wheelbase gas tank fuel pump
War_Pony89 replied to Buster Enus's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Was good Buster, I just did pump replacement this last weekend. tank looks correct to the OEM unit. As you have seen the hangers are not made anymore and if you bought one it is probably for a Cherokee. , yours looks just like mine from what I can see. The float ball looks to missing, but maybe the angle.. I bought a pump and wired it in to he hanger. you can see if local pick'nsave has and Comanche's? Bosch pump is what you need to put into the hanger. Comes with adapters since it is a smaller unit. , don't forget the get the sock for it too. -
RPMs drop to zero, while driving - Can't solve
War_Pony89 replied to Big Dan's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
When I changed my transmission from the BA/10 to the AX-15 I remembered I had issues with my Crank Positioning Sensor after installed . Made it home fine but started acting strange. Any major work done say about two months ago? Like others said, that cut off when let'n the clutch down smells of electrical somewhere. Runs smooth, low miles too. Good luck sort'n it out. -
no, lean but a mutt and i am a fan of the Goonies.; Couldn't tell what he was exactly

You have one or two. looks like yours in mounting on the floor?

Duck tape is my favorite gadget. Perfect cup holder, pen holder, nuts and bolts I don't' wanna lose holder when needed between my shifter and the seat. I also have a 8" Kicker Solo Baric behind the seat. perfect rifle rack when traveling too. up to 3 guns lay a crossed it perfectly with seat closed.

Hard Starting, started

Thanks y'all for the 411! Put the new Bosch unit in, PSI before was 21 and dropped immediately after cutting ignition. With new Bosch unit 31 and stays for days. Truck fires right up and can make it up my hill now in 2nd stead of first. Cut 'n splice two wires is all the mods it took. lots of nice little clamps hoses and parts left over I'm sure will come in handy.
