  1. Finally installed a new headliner, and gave the interior a good cleaning.
  2. I'm vehemently against anything mainstream by nature. But I did by an ipod a few years back when I was travelling all over the NE for hockey, and I still use it a lot on road trips and what not. It works for me, so I like it. 80gb classic. No mini tiny or whatever faggotry for me.
  3. Lol, so did I.
  4. Daily driver. I'll take it on a decent run here and there to pick up parts for other projects.
  5. The switch has a electrical on/off switch in it for a light also. However, I think what is really the best option is to put a momentary button in the cad housing, so a light illuminates when the fork physically slides over, not just when you throw the switch.
  6. I'll post a pic of the switch I'm using tomorrow.
  7. I'm doing the same thing using an air switch from a peterbilt. I did the spring like you did, I just haven't had time to install. I'll do it in the next month or two (before winter).
  8. I felt it in manhattan. It wasn't bad at all.... I was welding a stair and it felt like someone was shaking up and down on the landing. I looked up and no one was there. Weird. Some buildings were evacuated here. Nothing wild. Apparently the piano was shaking at my house. I hope everyone is ok near the epicenter.
  9. I had a bad track bar as well. +1 to visually inspecting while someone turns the wheel.
  10. gorgeous truck, but what's with the green wire going into the DS door. Other than that it's sweet.
  11. Changed distributor (leaking internally), cap, rotor, plugs. Made a very noticable difference.
  12. "One hundred billllion dollars" Just goes to show what a fictional number our national debt is.
  13. I need a set of exterior window seals for an MJ. They're the seals that are at the base of the window where the glass meets the door. Let me know what you have, Matt
  14. I don't know. There's a lot of iffy information in there.
  15. It's a renix thing. Something like it has to recalibrate it's fuel signal every time you turn it off. Look it up. Mine cranks for 2-3 seconds.
  16. Any project is like that. That's my the vast majority of "project cars/trucks" are only 80% finished. Nothing against the owners, it's just a b*@$£ to get a 100% job done. Lord knows my mustang and jeep always have a list of things to be done.
  17. hey when you do a craigslist search, try using a search engine like searchtempest or something similar. It can search all the local craigslist regions, which is very helpful in a dense area like mine.
  18. Yea, the height of the tunnel is really the only downside to using those seats. I've thought about setting my seats lower but it's really not worth the time to redo everything. The cupholders work perfectly with our trucks though
  19. My memory is a bit hazy, but I'm 99.9% sure that the dakote seats are 3 pieces (that I know for sure), and the center console mounts to the inside seat studs of each bucket. The biggest thing was the height of the trans tunnel. I massaged the bracket for the center seat as much as I could to get it as low as possible, and mounted the other seats to the same height. They're a little high (I'm 5'11 to give you an idea), but not uncomforable. It looks like the other guy who posted a picture left the console a little higher than the buckets. That honestly may be the way to go. Here's the best pictures I have: 1.5x1.5" angle across the front mounting tabs (may have buzzed the dodge ones flush) Took the stock front seat mount and heated/bent it up to meet the angle iron As you can see a additional bracing wouldn't hurt, and the angle that I mounted is just about butting into the trans tunnel. The inner/rear mounts looked something like this: And this is the outer: As you can see it's not too bad. I did this by myself in a day when I was 18 or so, so I'm sure you can come up with something better, but at least you have an idea of what you're dealing with now. Hope that helped, Matt
  20. Dynomax super turbos are quiet, smooth, and built well. Check them out. I run ultra-flos on my mustang.... very nice sound out of them.
  21. Really? I went from my mid-teen mpg 2.8 (if I drove easy, if I worked it, forget about it) to my renix 4.0 which easily sees upper teens mixed driving, and 20+ highway. Granted, the 2.8 had a 3 speed auto and the 4.0 has a 5 speed.
  22. I'm very happy with the mileage, power, and reliability of my renix 4.0. HO's are supposed to be a little easier to work with though.
  23. Don't have much for dimensions, but I do have some pics I can post tomorrow.
