    Going through the same process you are!!! To save some trouble and spread out costs cause I'm broke... I'm doing the front axle with 3in lift right now. Tires and wheels included everything cost be about $1100. Doing the front axle now will save me the trouble of getting the springs on there. I just sent them up with the axle easy peasy. The whole process is actually super easy. I'm having trouble right now with WJ knuckle steering; but thats only because I bought a modded axle.     Big things in the works. Gonna be dumb and just full send it to a 2.5L aw4 4x4 swap. $45 trans and transfercase thanks to some amazing comanche owner who wanted to help out, and a $250 front axle that better be as advertised (4.56) Gonna check this weekend... fingers crossed.     So about a week ago my trucks pcv line popped out and got burnt on the manifold. Sigh, but I jerryrigged it together and its held up exceptionally well, until now (I think) So I turned out onto the road and the truck stays in first, cuts my throttle and starts backfiring like crazy, like I had 2 step or something. I quickly pulled off, and turned off the truck. After turning it back on it had no problems, until I got to a stop light, where it just died. I turned it back on and tried to limp it back to school (I was on lunch) and it wanted to die every single stop, it got to the point where I put it in neutral and looked like a dummy revving my truck at a light to keep it on. Well after I made it back, I turned it off, and quickly inspected it. My PCV is still good, everything looks A-OK. I turned it on and it didnt try to die even in gear. I had to go to class which is were I'm at now and I'm at a loss for ideas.

    Its got a decent speaker system but there isnt any speakers behind the seat, just in the doors. When I bought it there was speaker wire going back there but it was cut, no speakers. I took out the wire. Still sounds pretty good through just the doors though. 1987 Comanche 2.5L Aw4 automatic. 4.56 rear end. San Antonio Texas

    UPDATE: I finally got my TCU situation figured out, and it was of course the easiest solution. My TCU is bad. I went ahead and ordered a cheap 4.0Aw4 TCU and of course it works haha. Only problem is my shift points are terrible, shifts way to early and bogs down hard. So I do need to either fix mine or buy a proper 2.5 Aw4 TCU. If anyone has one for sale LMK! I'm sending mine out to Nickintimefilms (the guy who makes the awesome renix scanner) and hes gonna take a look and see what he can figure out. 1987 Comanche 2.5L Aw4 automatic. 4.56 rear end.     Well, I guess this is the start to my build thread! won't really be a build just the progress of my daily. I’ve had her for like 2 months now and so far ive: Replaced both window regulators Fixed a lower radiator hose leak Got a steal on new taillights Did front breaks New tires Window tint Right now I'm working on chasing down a TCU problem. My trans isnt shifting on its own so I have to go 1-3-4. I’ve got some big plans for this truck in the future its just a matter of saving up! If you want to follow the build closer follow my insta @ DannyD815 I will add more photos when I can!
