In my xj I have a cold case full aluminum radiator. I think it's pretty new because I had never seen that brand for our jeeps before. But I tried it out. They have great reviews for other vehicles. So far it's been great. I also have the dirt bound off-road 3 electric fan shroud and 3 spal fans. Factory water pump and 195 t stat. I have the fans tied in to the factory fan wiring so it runs exactly as it would (correctly with relays of course) been running it that way for 4 ish years and even in dead summer it never gets above 217, even with a/c.

So just replaced my stripped window regulator to a "working perfectly" manual regulator off eBay and it's worse than mine was. Won't pick the window up from any position. Atleast mine worked till about 1/4 inch of glass at the bottom. Anyway, trying to find a good manual one seems hard as all hell. New power can be had for like $45. Any chance the worm gear can be swapped from the new electric to my manual? Or any other fixes?

There's a pretty large Sheetz right off 81 into Carlisle, about 5 to 10 minutes from the fairgrounds, we could maybe do? When I registered mine it fell into the unlimited section so idk if that means I'll be with the other mjs or in another spot.

I'll be there the whole weekend with mine

Antigravity batteries are stupid light and compact, but the price is not.

I had kumho ecstas when I had 15 inch rims. Not bad a "summer performance tire". Then when I got 17s I had falken azenis fk510s. GREAT tire. Super grippy and amazing in the rain. Recently just switched to the general grabber UHP. It's considered a performance SUV tire. Don't have alot of time on it but so far seems great. Alot of the RAM and jeep SRT guys run them from reviews I read. These are all performance summer tires.

Girlfriend had this commissioned for my birthday. Now I have the motivation to take the picture for real.

Clutch pedal nylon bushing
70barracuda replied to 70barracuda's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have the wilwood master already. I had taken a new master with a plastic eyelet and threaded it on the rod, the jeep push rod is just different enough it wouldn't sit in the wilwood master. But it sits at an angle and is definitely messing with my pedal pressure. I ordered a heim and will try to make it work without cutting the piece of the pedal first -

I believe those are for the axle pedal box shaft. I need the single one that goes on the clutch master pushrod to pedal -

Not that I've found. I think this is the # J4007472. But no luck on finding one -
Anyone have a lead on a replacement for that little nylon sleeve that goes on the clutch master push rod and clutch pedal? I can't for the life of me find mine or anything that'll work.

I got the brackets and shroud in good shape

So I know this tech is really old and caltracs are a much better set up, but these were $50 on summit so I figured why the hell not. And boy do they help. So much less bounce on take offs and even between shifts. Feels more planted. Now for some much bigger tires in the back end. So much for sleeper...

Broken clutch pedal???
70barracuda replied to 70barracuda's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Got the pedal back yesterday. Machine shop did an amazing job. Fixed the crack, rewelded the inside all around and welded the outside as well. Then bead blasted and painted the whole pedal all for an hours worth of labor at $75. Wayyyyy better than my booger weld job I would've done. -

Broken clutch pedal???

Lol I'm only in the break in period for the tremec. I havent even bang shifted it yet! That's crazy. Never thought Id have to worry about a pedal -
So driving home last night about to pull into my driveway, I push the clutch in and pop jeep lurches forward. Mash the clutch but nothing so I brake and stall out. Luckily I live on a hill so I rolled it in neutral to the side. Expecting fluid everywhere from either master or slave I look all over and find nothing. After about an hour I find that the master push rod bracket cracked off the pedal. After looking up online it seems not all that rare. I'm just dumfounded. Taking it to get professionally welded today and see if they can beef it up. But still, like what the hell! Never heard of a pedal breaking like that.

Procar seats by scat. When I bought them they had comanche listed available for brackets but have since removed and when I called about them they said the jig was wrong and won't be offering them anymore. So I had used the krustyballer brackets with the universal seat brackets. ALOT of work to make them work but it came out pretty good.
