  1. Looking for 2 of the little trim pieces that go on the upper arm rest part. Thanks.
  2. I have some open ended wrenches that arent as fat as new ones. Like old original craftsman. I used that and was only able to turn like 1/16 at a time. It has to be the first bolt tightened but you can follow the others as it goes down
  3. Mine were off just a tad but I was able to get all the bolts in. Had to use a hammer for some though. The biggest thing is NONE of the bolts can be tight when installing. Every one has to be loose. Also that one under the ear must go in first. It's a total b**** to tighten up.
  4. Ordered up the front floor pans today. Got to cutting out some smaller areas that I can just patch. Trunk pan is surprising clean. I removed the OE sound deadener and put some new stuff down. I'd love to get a beater but knowing me I'd try and make it nice. I have a 99 camry that I got and gave to my sister but she's at college now so I've been driving that on and off. But even that is really clean for NJ and I feel bad driving it in the salt lol

    F**k salt

This is my Cherokee. I know it's not absolutely terrible but I think I'm gonna cry. I'm so sick of salt and brine every winter. I'm really concerned about that quarter panel though...don't know how I'm gonna fix that.
  6. I agree with not needing first gear. I still use it but it's so fast to second
  7. Yeah everything they do is pretty great and then it all just fails so hard on the clutch stuff. New slave is working good, hopefully I won't have any issues there. Originally I got just a random gm bearing. Worked alright but it was kinda short. I had bought the Novak adjustable but honestly the bearing didn't feel great. I got a gm bearing from an Oldsmobile and it was a little longer. Clutch feels better than before for sure. I think the angle of the fork is better. I'm just not a fan of the external fork set up. Did you ever look at the advance adapters swap kit? It looks very similar to the jeep stuff. Maybe some of that would work good for you? I'm so close to just getting a tko600 lol
  8. Had the throwout bearing go out on the jeep. I think I had it adjusted wrong and it was always spinning against the fingers of the clutch. Holy hell was getting that trans out hard. The bellhousing does not fit through the back of tunnel so it took me 4 hours to get it out and 4 to get it back in. Never really thought I would have that issue as it seems to have plenty of room. If I ever gotta do anything else engine definitely is coming out all together. Never heard it straight piped and figured why not. Scared me on the first start up lol this was only to 3k
  9. Slave went out again last week. Called Novak up and chatted with them as this would be it's 3rd rebuild. They sent me a whole new slave thinking the casting was off on the original one. Got that put in today and seems great. Also swapped back to the rear zj springs and got new bilstien shocks. What a difference in ride quality. Also put new poly bump stops in. Definitely way better ride this way. Now to just get some bilstien for the rear.
  10. Listen, I cried once and every time I get in the truck I am so happy I got it haha
  11. Nothing major that really stood out. My build thread is in the hardcore section if you wanna check it out. I will say going with the holley standalone system was the best decision ever. Ah that's right! That Novak radiator looked beast, just a tad expensive for me lol
  12. 22x19 radiator works good. Need to trim the front cross bar a bit but mine fit great after a small amount of work and it cools it great. I got a summit brand 3 inch core
  13. Been 95+ here in NJ for pretty much the past 2 weeks. Truck is doing great. Coolant temp never gets above 205. Air intake temps are a different story. Does perfectly fine when moving but if I get stuck in traffic they climb very fast. 140+ is a no go. So I made a shield for the filter and wrapped the pipe. We'll see how it works. I really wish I went with A/C...
  14. This is my other hobby when jeeping isn't taking all my money... 55 gallon. Just got it all set up and stocked. Just waiting for the plants to grow in.
  15. Swapped out my wj arms for some Rubicon express arms. A little too much flex in the rubber bushings so these now have a poly like material. Much stiffer and greaseable. About the only arms that are straight and not bent for lifting.
  16. I think so. 300 bucks for custom made and fits perfectly. Also super nice quality
  17. They are super quick for being custom made. I called them Friday, shipped Tuesday, got it today. None are in stock so they make it on demand.
  18. It's fits so good. Time to bust out the cassettes
  19. Dropped the front end down maybe an inch? I cut half a coil out of the springs. Definitely way better. Now I just gotta trim the bump stops...
  20. Oh yeah, now it's a party!
