I actually have Mark's frame sliders also. He modified them for me to run my long arms. The sliders act like frame stiffeners also and got rid of a ton of noise from the XJ. Wish he was still in business

Man you almost were in luck because I thought it was going to interfere with my steering brace, but it doesn't. I am installing it hopefully this weekend.

Finally after about 10 years of running around with my Detours bumpers just in primer for my XJ I finally got it powdercoated. Now I just need to get time to reinstall the rear and actually install the front.

I am going to lower it and then see how far off the castor is and see where the wheels end up in the wheel well. I am mostly worried the castor will be off. Lowering it should give me a little bit more castor, which wouldn't be terrible I think What is the stock castor angle? 7.5°?

88 2wd If I throw a set of coil springs that will drop it about 4", from in my brain it shouldn't effect the front except for pushing the tires forward correct? Since it doesn't have to worry about pinions angles you wouldn't have to adjust for that? I might throw some adjustable short arms to keep the tires in the center of the wheel well for looks and to help it from rubbing.

They might have put the longer cable on. I did that on mine and it had some sharp bends. That make the cable bind then release causing it to jump on the tach
