  1. I like the bench because my bench is super comfortable. Plus, my parents don’t exactly have the nicest, newest, or most reliable vehicle (they have money, we just don’t need something newer yet), so having the ability to haul 3/4 of my family is nice, just in case we need to.

Good looking truck! What are your plans for it? Be sure to check under the carpet for rust, even the nicest looking trucks need floors a lot of times! Enjoy!
  3. Aside from the Redneck lift kit, I see that is a drivers side drop T-case and the front end has a passenger side pumpkin.
  4. It is this. I have experience on this on my MJ and my fathers YJ. It shields the vacuum disconnect, however it is kinda useless. If you were to hit a rock with it (granted, its on the backside of the axle, so if you hit it with a rock you wouldn't be going fast), you would probably fold it over and still wreck your vacuum disconnect.
  5. If they are a factory accessory, I’m sure @eaglescout526 would know what they are.
  6. Alright. That is probably the route I’ll go.
  7. The engine has just gotten worn out and has a knock. It also has a hard time doing 70 mph.
  8. Be sure to start a build thread for it!
  9. Ok. I got more info. I was told that the cylinder walls would need to be honed and that it is a poor mans stroker kit. I could be a 4.2 and a 4.0 for $75. I would put the 4.2 crank and rods in the 4.0 block. What does everyone think?
  10. If you can pick up a Volkswagen or Mercedes with a diesel, that would be your best bet if you want a diesel Comanche.
  11. That’s funny. My dad calls it the KungFlu
  12. No issues swapping it in. don't grab the driveshaft, a shortbed one doesn’t fit a long bed. A limited slip means power will go to bothe rear wheels, not just one. It is good for off-roading.
  13. Yes. When completed it will have a pickup bed like a standard 1/2 ton.
  14. It should! And the 6.0 is out of a 2009, so it has about 350hp.
  15. 6.0 and a 4L80 It is 2wd
  16. We hope so! We made more patches today to connect the 1/2 ton fender to the stock COE fender.
  17. Here is our family project that has been around for about 15 years. My dad has cut the cab and made it a crew cab using 3 other cabs. It is also on a 2001 2500hd std cab long bed frame. Yesterday, we closed up the front wheel wells because he wants 1/2 ton rear fenders. This way the wheel wells will match.
  18. We have been working on the front fenders on my dads 53 Chevy COE project. We we closed up the front wheel well so it will match the back.
  19. Weld em shut and paint over it.
  20. I agree. I love how how you are putting a bunch of nice, modern creature comforts in the old shell. It should make for a very nice rig.
  21. I agree, nobody is protesting, but you aren’t allowed to be in a group of greater than 10 people here in WI.
  22. Yes. Also, I feel like it is unconstitutional. It violates the part 1st Amendment, freedom to Assemble.
