If you have access to a sandblaster, sand blast the surface before using weld through primer. That is what my dad's restoration shop does.

Oh I’m very familiar with the Charger 500s. I didn’t mean to be confusing. Only the yellow Superbird and red Daytona were my friend’s aero cars. The 500s were early 69 only. And the gold one is a factory Hemi car. Maybe once I get the other engine and trans ready to drop inwe will see what it takes to blow up the old Peugeot.

He definitely does. Only the red Daytona and yellow Superbird were his aero cars. Most of the videoed cars were his though, except for the blue Charger. I have an 8.8, but I’m worried about the Peugeot.

When my MJ is running better and has the AX-15 in it, I might just have to see how it’ll do.

Oh yeah they are. I can out maneuver my dads YJ and moms JKU with ease.

I've thought about this too. Short bed pros: easier to park seem more desirable when restored better breakover angle for off-roading looks taller with less lift (my opinion) easier to find other bed parts for (toppers, tonneau covers, etc.) Long bed pros: more hauling space more load capacity (w/ Metric Ton package) better ride because of longer wheel base (in theory, cannot confirm or deny this) Short bed cons: No Metric Ton Stiffer ride? slightly less bed space pricier when you find a nice one Long bed cons: longer (harder to park) worse breakover angle harder to find other bed parts (toppers, tonneau covers, etc.) It all depends on what you use the truck for. Honestly, the short bed has been fine for everything that I've needed it for, I have hauled kayaks with it, I just needed to strap them down, which you should do either way. The only reason I have to want a long bed is because of the metric ton package, which was still an option.

If I came up with a list of shows that I might be going to around WI, would anyone else be interested in meeting there and showing there MJ?

Turns out this truck is a Honcho. It has the stickers on the lip of the doors, fenders, cab, and bed. It has had a low quality repaint at one point. It

Brought the old pig to a car show today. It’s crazy how many people were asking about it.

They are neat cars! Check out the Winged Warrior and Aero Car Reunion on FB. That is cool. Right!!!

A friend has a Aero Car (and others) show at his house. I got to ride in his Daytona when we did burnouts. My brother and I helped him clean it. Here are some pics. And of course, obligatory MJ pics. This friend of ours has a Superbird, Daytona, Challenger Hellcat, and a Challenger Demon. Yes, a real Hemi Charger 500. Yup, that’s Richard Petty’s signature. I did not take the pics of my MJ. The rest I did take though.
