  1. I’ve used cracked ones before, never had any leaks so long as you use some rtv with the gasket or I used JBWeld to keep it from getting worse.
  2. How shattered? Only cause the original and Chrysler ones are a hard plastic vs crowns garbage flimsy plastic.
  3. 84-86 had both V-belts and serps as an option. 87-01 was just serp so it really is more on the belt set up than anything else for the rotation of the pump.
  4. Please tell me you kept that AMC valve cover.
  5. I think 87 was the introduction of the logo, course I don't know why the logo was needed unless Jeep people didnt know there center was the horn button?
  6. Have y’all ever seen project farm test JBWeld with others like it?
  7. Orrrrr modify a trashed full console like what I did.
  8. I just did soap and water to clean the parts and then painted. Everything has held up fine with no adhesion promoter or anything. Some will say prep the hell out of it, others will say just a clean surface will do the trick without spending the extra money.
  9. So I can use an Eagle set up too? Great to know actually.
  10. Lol. Not happening. I’ve already got enough project cars.
  11. J-truck isn’t mine. It’s another’s that I met at the cruise in. But it’s pretty cool with a lucky back story of it being a desert barn find out here and all the guy did was just got it running and is driving it.
  12. I’d do it but I’d be trying to figure out both shipping and where I’d put it as I already put on a carrier on my XJ.
  13. Flywheel you will need to swap. I don't know a lot about the HO year motors but I can’t imagine any issues with swapping a while HO motor to be with a Renix set up.
  14. I have old and old.
  15. Damn, I would love to have this one.
  16. If the connecter behind the B-pillar is there, then you should have the switch connector behind the dash bezel.
  17. There should be a connector there on your 90. It has two pink wires connected to it. Course we do speculate that 89 was the last year for the cargo lamp wiring being installed at the factory but we know 91-92 doesn’t have such wiring. The cargo lamp works off the dome lamp circuit.
  18. No. If you want a cargo lamp switch, you’ll need to use a fog lamp switch or a power comfort switch as both have three prongs like for the connector for the cargo switch. The defrost switch is a different connector set up as is the rear wash and wipe switch.
  19. Hauntingly beautiful this last piece of Beatles music is.
  20. Why not put 12v to the pump to see if it works and have it dump the fuel into a bucket? I mean yes check the condition of the pump and sending unit but I feel like it would be alot less work if the pump works and you can get the old fuel out that way.
  21. Usually a sign for me to do then if I have to adjust the ebrake.
  22. Don’t go too crazy with that. It could also be a sign of the drum pads going down if they haven’t been done in a while.
  23. I’m talking to fill the tank with gas haha Correct. And I think that’s where the OP is hitting his snag on getting the hose in there. He is probably better off removing the sending unit or putting power to the pump to get the gas out.
  24. Yeah it’s how ever much money you want to put into the tank haha. Chances are you have a 16. If it’s original it should have the info tag on it either under or by the sending unit hole
  25. Long beds only came with either a 16 or 23 gallon tank. 18 is for the short bed.
