Passenger side, behind the lower dash panel is the entire HVAC box. In the engine bay, behind the charcoal cannister is the drain tube for the condensation. That could be blocked but you will have to unbolt the dash if you really want to get in there and see what's up.

Looked at later years and its funny that people possibly paid $200+ for a heated window relay. Good lord Chrysler.

84-91 defogger switch is different than the later years and is NLA 84-92 defogger relay, one left.

I think there’s some left. Trick is getting the switches in good shape.

Maybe that might work, I saw that coming when it said it wouldn’t work for sliders. You’d probably have to have two kits and trim them to fit and work on either side panes and hope that it gets warm enough to heat up the middle doors. But it’s not worth to go through the trouble for that

See I have always wondered this too because it would be nice to have after a winter rain storm when I go to leave in the morns. Sadly no one has said kit so I have now knowledge of how it was installed. I've often contemplated an XJ rear defroster.

I often like to think that theres someone other than the few we know who are hoarding parts out there or a big warehouse owned by someone with a lot of Jeep parts in there.

It seems like SWB bars are easier(and probably were a more popular option) to find than a LWB bar.

Wouldn't hurt to look, kinda would surprise me, but also Chrysler used the same brake pedal pad for their automatic cars as AMC did. Hell there's a few parts in the catalog that you can find with a Jeep number but supersedes to either an early Chrysler number or supersedes from an old Chrysler number. I'll do some digging. Ive often thought about the S-10 having the same set up but came up empty.

I will let my coworker know that a couple options were found. I have only seen one of these things in my life and it was at neighbors house and he kinda had it tucked away under a tarp for a while, he drove it a couple times to target when I worked there but I never got the chance to talk to him about it until he traded it for some 60's sports car, I think it was a Midgit.

Could be. But there are other things that can cause the engine to run rough. Start with grounds and a tune up and we can move on from there.

Usually MJ works for me as more of their parts will have MJ in the description.

Does anyone have one of these? Either rust free or not rotted out all the way? I have someone looking for one, they are currently out here in AZ and have not found one and they will be driving back to Illinois. Doesn't have to be something you own but if you happen to know where one is in say a junkyard or something like that let me know.

Sticker will have to look professional in Helvetica font with the Chrysler corp and Pentastar logo on it or for us earlier and obsessed guys, the AMC|Jeep corp and logo on it. Shame I have no way of making such sticker.

I like that idea. A simple sticker that says "This Jeep MJ or XJ is equipped with the headlamp relay harness upgrade"

I checked mine really recently. The only melted plug I ever found was my blower motor switch plug and that was replaced when I added AC. And I don't drive much at night so headlights are rarely used except in the winter on my way to work and that plug was still in perfect shape.
