I’ll get you some pics. I was working on an 86 this evening actually to get it back up and running to conquer the roads Lol was working on an 86 and had some other things this evening. I am currently rebuilding one. The last two prongs on the ISA are the motor, put power and ground to each one and see if it does anything. If not, it will need to come apart for a possible rebuild. But the screw for the ISA does absolutely help, just the ISA internal motor has to be working in conjunction. So if it isn’t properly adjusted it’ll either run rough or run way to high of RPM.

NP231 to NP242 - BA10/5
eaglescout526 replied to howeitsdone's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
That should be an easy matter of taking the sensor out and dropping in your old gear adaptor for the cable drive. -
You’re thinking of the 2.5L diesel the XJs over in reichlandia got. That’s a completely different 2.5L.

Need help replacing TPS on 2.8L
eaglescout526 replied to Nat's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
TPS? 2.8L V6 is carbureted. Not fuel injection. Unless it’s been swapped. -
Usually everyone on here contacts me and gets a price. And the newer ones are skinny and should fit right where that sender is.
-
Wellllll in theory you could have two, you would just need two ports and have one sender and one gauge if you have a damn good know how and wire in a lamp into the info center of the cluster if you have gauges. Now if your swapping from the idiot light to the gauge, you’ll need the bigger one to swap in place of the smaller switch. but otherwise we can only have one at a time, not both. The ECU does not need oil pressure as info for it to operate. The one in the original post is the only location for the sender/sensor I highly recommend Mopar sensors as we can still get them and not at such a ridiculous price too

I mean it seems to be but even from the buyers prospective(me) seems to have the same “ghosting” issue too. I’ve inquired about things on Facebook asking if they’re available before either going and seeing it or wasting my time with the person. I’ve had it to where I’ll ask and I’ll hear nothing and then the item is gone or I’ll get a couple words back and then the person will stop responding and never respond again. Lately I’ve had good luck with some folks over there cause life gets busy and I just check in showing I’m still interested. But I think eBay is the worst place right now. I’ll get folks who throw an offer out and I’ll accept and then they message me after I accept their offer asking about the part and I just end up canceling their order and tell them to do their research before buying parts willynilly. Now granted I am guilty of leaving some people hanging when selling parts and that’s entirely my bad as life gets busy. I do agree though, it sucks having time wasted on a potential sale. What’s more worse to that is say here at the dealer, I pull parts only for the driver to get to our customer to basically say “oh we cancelled that.” Apparently it’s hard to pick up the phone and say we no long need the part.

If your master is still the original nabco one, hang on to it and tear it apart. Those are the factory ones and are much better and worth a rebuild if the cylinder inside is still in good shape.

Don't Buy Valucraft Alternators - Shrapnel
eaglescout526 replied to jamcomanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Yeah, these guys are the reason why we don’t deal with them. Same customer kept coming in month after month about their power steering pump and they kept buying crap autozone pumps because they were cheap morons who didn’t want to buy a Mopar unit. -

Knocking On Valve Cover 2.5L
eaglescout526 replied to jamcomanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Sometimes they pop up on here but salvage yards are your best bet. Maybe try the facebook pages as well. I used to have the ability to get the metal covers but that salvage yard closed down and scrapped damn near everything. -
I can still get a valve cover for them from Chrysler.
-
Lol perfect! I was wondering if you ever got them or not.
-
Did you ever get your spare keys I sent along?
-
Just looked up that part number on the tag. It is a 94-96 T-case.
-
Ah ok. The clutch slave cylinder can be external(outside bell house) or internal(inside bell and an all in one assembly). External is the superior set up as it usually works the best but the internals with time can fail sooner than an external set up would. But since nothing has been replaced, it wouldn’t hurt to give a refresh and possibly rebuild the master cylinder.

looking for pics of your MJ wheels
eaglescout526 replied to Pete M's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I spoke to him about a month ago. And that was the last time I heard from him. I don't know if he’s still recouping from the hurricane or if something happened to him. -
Let’s start here. Has anything been replaced in terms of from clutch master to slave? Is it internal or external?
