  1. Lol. So I’m fairness it was already rescued. Still sad it had the feet cut off but that’s probably easier to do that making new tubes.
  2. Oh man. I hate being right. But hey! MJ roll bar saved from a moron.
  3. Lets do the easy stuff before tearing into the head.
  4. Oooo oooo pick me! Pick me! I’m willing to bet the TPS is out of whack and the vac lines needs some love. ISA motor is doing its job by revving it up to stay alive. That part of the circuit is working. Is there coolant or water in the cooling system? A bad head gasket would also behave the same way as a clogged cat.
  5. T0739789 There is still some left I can order.
  6. So I was taking the wife to work today as her car got hit friday and the damn towing company took it to a yard rather my house...ugh. Anywho!! When I pulled into the back alley way of her work I spotted a steel wheel, ok theres some junk over here and I turned around and saw a 5 lug wheel, looked like a Jeep steely. Ok Ill swing back by and look. And sure enough it fricken is! With the cap too nonetheless!! So I snagged it because I can't say no to free Jeep stuff. The tire is from the 30th week of 2002 so its probably been sitting a while. What else has anyone found that is Jeep related in the trash or side of the road?
  7. I can get some more pics. What I saw when I was taking it off the shelf was it looks like the fins have preformed aluminum tubes that slide over the copper tubes. I’ll confirm the structure the tubes are held in with a magnet as well.
  8. I just went and looked. It is indeed copper tubes(or could be copper coated brass but I doubt that). I’ll have to pull down my other used core and look at it too to see what it’s made of. From what I remember, the ends are a steel structure and the fins are held on by the steel structure that supports the tubes. Kinda like a house or commercial AC unit evap.
  9. From what I remember seeing, it’s the aluminum fins with a copper pipping core.
  10. I mean I’m running a used evap and it’s just fine. If you run a used evap, you just want to make sure it’s clean inside and out and it has no leaks. They’re not like the evaps of today where they’re made quickly in Mexico and end up failing 2-3 years down the road.
  11. I thought it was thundercougarfalconbird?.
  12. Lol woot woot! Save the gas sippers. Oh shoot it’s got factory air!
  13. If it is, they cut off the feet from a long bed model just to make it fit. Shame on them if it is.
  14. Question. What is the question here? Are you wanting to know if you can swap the GM for the 4.0L? Yes you can, you need a donor Jeep to swap it in.
  15. No problem!
  16. If you do, let me know. Wife wants to use the ZJ one in the XJ. I’ll probably toy with it at some point.
  17. Yes and it only did the key in. I think on the fuse block the wires could probably be rearranged to have this unit work.
  18. Can confirm this. Worked in my XJ.
  19. It is still stealing the show in another state...damn. I miss seeing this truck in person.
  20. Yes! Theres two versions. One is a buzzer and the other is what I call the upper class reminder that you can get from the waggys. It chimes vs buzzes like GMs of the era. Also ZJs and GM vehicles use the same style chimes. GM has a black box and probably a blue box that chimes like the SJ's and XJW's and the ZJ one is a bit more updated sounding. Granted the ZJ one has 8 prongs vs the 7 of the older chime modules but I am sure a little reconfigure of the chime plug will get all the warnings working. I actually have a black GM one that I am sure works but I just don't know if it has the wiring in the same place as the Jeeps. I imagine it does as the blue chime modules in the SJ and XJW are made by the same company as the black GM one I have.
  21. When vehicles were just utilities and couches. Now theyre air bags, plastic and shrapnel. Although is that any safer? haha.
  22. Lol. Still there. Same one from a week or two ago.
