  1. I'm likely going to reproduce mud flap bracket kits and wanted to gauge interest before I invest in getting a batch run done. The rubber mud flaps themselves can typically be reconditioned pretty easily, but the brackets are known to rust right off. Likely cost for a full MJ set will be around $130 for all 6 stainless steel brackets powder-coated black with all new necessary hardware. Just bring your existing mud flaps and you're good to go. Materials will be all stainless steel, CAD designed to factory specs, CNC laser-cut and bent. LMK!
  2. Kits are in stock and ready to ship. Now $59! https://boxyjeep.com/products/jeep-comanche-replacement-tailgate-handle-1986-1992
  3. Thanks, this is helpful. I've been dabbling in metal parts and custom decals, which have a much lower cost of entry.
  4. Interesting. This is a dealer program?
  5. Do you have the ability to make injection molded ABS parts?
  6. How do you generate these @eaglescout526?
  7. Haha! This kit will bend a bit… my tailgate certainly was not in the best shape.
  8. Thanks--it uses the tailgate handle holes and threads to attach.
  9. This kit will allow you to show off that Comanche tailgate you've been hoarding all these years. No better way to flaunt your stash to those without a working tailgate of their own than with this kit. Made of CNC laser-cut and bent 14-gauge mild steel, this two-part bracket system allows for quick and easy hanging on your wall. Width is approximately 20" to allow for attachment between two studs. https://boxyjeep.com/products/jeep-comanche-tailgate-wall-mount-kit
  10. There is 1.5” from the back of the bracket to B pillar. I’d advise measuring your speakers and getting these types of spacers in 1/2” or 1” thickness. https://amzn.to/3W7pMnu
  11. Just saw the order come in—thanks! Will get those out early for you.
  12. DM me--I can reproduce the door sticker.
  13. I may have a set in transit that someone is letting me borrow. Updates to follow.
  14. He does not have the file or any old units laying around 😞 If anyone has a set, LMK
  15. I’ll reach out.
  16. I intend to reproduce these brackets. If someone can share the design files (DXF or otherwise), I can start manufacturing them. If nobody has the file or drawing of specs, I have a set of XJ flaps that I am planning to use to prototype, but am coming up short on getting my hands on an MJ set. I believe XJ and MJ have the same front bracket, but different rear. If someone has MJ rears, I’d love to borrow them. Would even provide a free set of new brackets once I get them created.
  17. That’s awesome—Those look great! Thanks for the feedback.
  18. Full Assemblies -- Includes new stainless steel handle and all hardware -- refurbished backing plate -- $149 https://boxyjeep.com/products/jeep-comanche-tailgate-handle-full-assembly-1986-1992
  19. I’d be mostly concerned about cooling system and tires on a long trip like that. Make sure you have everything you need ti fix/repair/check those things.
  20. Got it. Sounds like I need to see how short I can cut a vent tube.
  21. 16? SWB is 18 IIRC…. I thought LWB was 25 or 26 gallons.
  22. Yeah, I’ve thought about this a bit more. I think Jeep planned to offer larger tanks for SWB but then decided against the option for some reason. If you look at the drivers side frame you can see a third square hole where tank strap would go for a larger tank. The main issue besides clearance is the location of the fuel filler neck. I may get a new LWB tank and re-weld the neck location and give it a go…. You’d also need to make a small bracket to catch the j-bolt for the third tank strap.
  23. Great tool and Nick is very helpful on FB chat. Highly recommend. He’s here too… @NickInTimeFilms
