In stock and ready to ship. One full set of replacement brackets for your Jeep Comanche MJ mud flaps including new hardware kit. Typically, the rubber mud flaps are very resilient to wear, however the original steel brackets had a tendency to rust and degrade over time. Includes (2) front brackets and (2) rear brackets for 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche MJ. CNC designed and laser cut using 16 gauge stainless steel. All necessary hardware included (also stainless steel). Rear brackets are an improved 1-peice design over the original 2-peice configuration. These are the brackets found in OE mud flap kit 82200793 (front) and 82200795 (rear). Brackets can be left raw or painted if desired. https://boxyjeep.com/products/jeep-comanche-mj-mud-flap-bracket-kit-1986-1992

Location would help

Good point, I didn’t notice that empty spot. Anyone else know what’s supposed to be there? Perhaps it should say “Upcountry” underneath…?

Take a close up picture and provide the dimensions and I can clone it. I also have the UpCountry stickers available… https://boxyjeep.com/products/upcountry-suspension-decals

Ahhh got it. Yep, definitely need the plastic cap to stick those to...

Looks like someone already makes those center caps:

I think I may be able to get these down to $79 a set with galvanized steel ($99 with hardware kit). How does that sound? Yes, I also played around a bit with the two options. The 2-peice configuration allows each side to be identical. Moving to a single piece requires two configurations based on left vs right side. The ones I make will likely be 1-peice in the rear as that seems a bit better and cleaner.

I'm likely going to reproduce mud flap bracket kits and wanted to gauge interest before I invest in getting a batch run done. The rubber mud flaps themselves can typically be reconditioned pretty easily, but the brackets are known to rust right off. Likely cost for a full MJ set will be around $130 for all 6 stainless steel brackets powder-coated black with all new necessary hardware. Just bring your existing mud flaps and you're good to go. Materials will be all stainless steel, CAD designed to factory specs, CNC laser-cut and bent. LMK!

Thanks, this is helpful. I've been dabbling in metal parts and custom decals, which have a much lower cost of entry.

Interesting. This is a dealer program?

Do you have the ability to make injection molded ABS parts?

How do you generate these @eaglescout526?

Haha! This kit will bend a bit… my tailgate certainly was not in the best shape. -
Jeep Comanche Tailgate Wall Mount Kit

Thanks--it uses the tailgate handle holes and threads to attach. -
This kit will allow you to show off that Comanche tailgate you've been hoarding all these years. No better way to flaunt your stash to those without a working tailgate of their own than with this kit. Made of CNC laser-cut and bent 14-gauge mild steel, this two-part bracket system allows for quick and easy hanging on your wall. Width is approximately 20" to allow for attachment between two studs. https://boxyjeep.com/products/jeep-comanche-tailgate-wall-mount-kit

6.5" Rear Speaker Brackets
boxyjeep replied to boxyjeep's topic in Vendors- members making products for MJs
There is 1.5” from the back of the bracket to B pillar. I’d advise measuring your speakers and getting these types of spacers in 1/2” or 1” thickness. https://amzn.to/3W7pMnu -

Just saw the order come in—thanks! Will get those out early for you. -
DM me--I can reproduce the door sticker.

I may have a set in transit that someone is letting me borrow. Updates to follow.

He does not have the file or any old units laying around 😞 If anyone has a set, LMK

I’ll reach out.

I intend to reproduce these brackets. If someone can share the design files (DXF or otherwise), I can start manufacturing them. If nobody has the file or drawing of specs, I have a set of XJ flaps that I am planning to use to prototype, but am coming up short on getting my hands on an MJ set. I believe XJ and MJ have the same front bracket, but different rear. If someone has MJ rears, I’d love to borrow them. Would even provide a free set of new brackets once I get them created.
