Get rid of that cluster. It’s junk. Get an 88-90 cluster with the blue housing and full gauges. This video goes over it a bit more: Would also recommend the BoxyJeep electronic speedo conversion.

No, lol. But it’s the only rail that bolts to the Renix intake manifold. If you’re going to swap to a HO rail, it requires a HO intake, throttle body, ditch EGR, etc, then this kit is unnecessary. But if you want to keep it somewhat original and gain some adjustability, this is a good option.

How'd you pull that off? From my understanding the fuel rail bolt holes are in different locations from HO to Renix...

Thought you guys would appreciate a sneak peak of a kit we are working on for an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for Renix 4.0L. Inspired by this thread and the fact that the Hesco unit is trash, we came up with our own solution. Will have a video up soon with an overview of what's required, but this has resulted in my 4.6L Renix stroker running really well, without the need for an adjustable MAP sensor (which is actually a pretty poor solution). Ok. Despite me critiquing it for $400 and not being NOS it is now on it's way to my house.

This is not NOS. I believe a lot of people don't really know what that means. You can tell by the fact that the foam has indentations, there's rust on the inside of the heater core pipes, and numerous other signs of use. Still a decent deal with free shipping.

Yeah, just availability and I believe the temp-to-resistance band is a bit more accurate.

Been awhile since an update. Got 4.56 gears installed with Yukon LSD in the rear and Eaton e-locker up front. Really perfect ratio for 33's, AX15 and the 4.6L stroker. I've also finally got the steering "functional" but not super happy with it. The front end isn't as stable as I'd like--most likely due to the length of the OTA track bar vs. the WJ drag link. This causes some bump steer and less stability than I would expect (even with 8* of caster). Currently working on getting a few new parts installed to open up the air flow on the Renix engine: Dynomax header with 2.5" downpipe and exhaust all the way back, new intake tapped for GM IAT sensor, AC bypass pulley, and a Hesco AFPR. Overall, super happy with how the truck runs and drives. Finally feel like it's in a 99% done position and usable. I was able to take a picture in the same parking lot from when I bought the truck 7 years ago to now. Crazy transformation that I never expected to take this long...

I actually had some decals for "Comanche" and "4x4" on it, but ended up taking them off. Likely going to design something that mirrors the 86 "Comanche" text and make it with my 3d printer or some CAD services. Whatever I do I want it to look aligned with the overall build and not cheap.
