    Tires

I've ran a bunch of tires over the years. Personally not a fan of BFG's, on road they are fine but they've let me down in mud and snow more times than they should for the price, MTs do great in bad conditions but on the road noisy as hell. Currently on my WJ I have Falkens Wildpeak atw3 and really like them. Do great on snow, mud and on road. For the price best tires I've run. I ran General Grabbers on my old MJ and they did fine but never took them off road. Current MJ has Firestone MT's since it's not running can't comments on how they do. On my wifes GX I run Nokian AT and really like them. Do great in snow and nice for overall cruising around. The wear tends to be fairly quick but at the price again no complaints. I would find some with a 3 peak symbol in any case.

    Idaho?

A few years ago we considered moving there. We have a friend who lives in mountain home and my old boss was from Bosie. It's gorgeous but the population landscape is, "unique". There's a large mormon population ( not knocking it, just not for me) and that can be different if you aren't used to it. Basically be a part of it or be shunned. Then on the flip side you have the radical militia groups (more north along the WA border) mixed with a major meth problem and a bunch of people from CA taking it over. Our friend in mountain home likes it but it's small, she grew up there. So you're limited on something but Bosie isnt far. If I wasn't married with kids I'd definitely consider there or montana. I can't recall but I believe they have limited taxes which is nice.
  3. It's a gag but funny. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/813775265883871/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks Custom built jerp cherokee sport edition. Has fully custom hand built aero body kit, short throw dip stick, intercooler, lots of lights and many more. Currently has an air filter delete so I get a little more air injection for power. Also no muffler so she breaths better. Has NOS aswell (can be seen in interior pic). This thing eats honda civics and them subaru wrx cars all day. No rush to sell just seeing if anyone wants to own this beast. No low-ballers, I know what I got.
  4. Just no. If you want reliable don't engine swap it, keep the 4.0 and renix. I have the 4.7HO in my WJ and it's been rebuilt twice. Bought it with a dropped valve seat, rebuilt the engine dropped another valve seat. 4.7 is on borrowed time after 200. 4.0 will run for well over that and is cheaper overall. I could have built the 4.0 twice for the cost of the 4.7 once.
  5. When I need a quick burger fix I'll go to Good Times. They are only in CO but delicious. Otherwise 5 guys. May have to try whataburger though.
  6. Awesome! Thanks for the info. Look like we are going to be staying in mission beach. Originally had thought about oceanside but plan changed.
  7. Made a sledding ramp. Kid had a blast. We're at a foot and growing.
  8. Survived the first night of snowmageddon.
  9. Few weeks ago they called for a few inches got over a foot. Last year snowmegedon was going to happen and barley a dusting. Metrologist suck here, it's seriously a joke. Doesn't help all the rtards from texas and California that move hear and can't figure out it's the fn rockies and snow happens so freak out when a snow flake drops.
  10. K5 all day. Still kick myself that I sold my old one. Albeit it was a Jimmy but all the same. Prices has gotten crazy on them. People wanting 15k for POS rust buckets.
  11. It is but limited Cool thanks for the info.
  12. Cool thanks. Had In-n-Out few years ago in LA. It was decent still don't understand the hype.
  13. Planned a family trip next month to San Diego. Going with another family as well but no real agenda other than the Zoo and possibly Legoland. Will be out there for 5 days. Was wondering if there are any hidden gems or tricks for getting around to stuff?
  14. So then gotta ask how much did you pick it up for?
  15. Nice, glad you got it posted over here. NAXJA is fine, kind of, but CC is place for anything comanche related let alone just a cool place.
  16. HA still just swimming around.
  17. Man I thought I was on the "younger" side! Some of y'all couldn't even wipe your own a$$ before I was driving. I'm 35 and will be 36 on the 17th. Age is just a number to me, still manage to do dumb stuff and not act mature, although kids have curtailed majority of those shenanigans.
  18. I was intrigued so I had to see. Made for a good morning chuckle. https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/michaelrusch/haribo-gummy-bear-reviews-on-amazon-are-the-most-insane-thin
  19. Naw, new kids take the cake for stupid. Eating tide pods, snorting condoms, gorilla glue in your hair....along with all the other they stupid af "challenges". Don't get me wrong I did a lot of dumb stuff but today is a different level. I had jackass growing up so it was fun to watch people do stupid stuff but never had the thought to go mimic behaviors let alone record it. That's the problem today, common sense has been been replaced with the need for gratification from your peers based on shock value. You know that saying mom's always say, "Well if Johnny jumped off a bridge would you do it?" My day the answer was no, today it's gotta do it for the gram.
  20. That grill........ barf. Seriously who decided that was a idea let alone a good one.
  21. Woof, this little gem..... https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/d/denver-1962-chevy-bus-rv-conversion/7277061192.html
  22. Between here, cruiser54 and youtube; easy if you have the time and willingness to learn. If it's not a primary vehicle even better as they are fine to wrench on in your spare time. As BeatCJ said v6 is meh at best. Also really need to check the floor boards for rust to know what level of rust you are getting into.
