    Beer

Happy Colorado pint day! While having a kegorator has been awesome, I do miss the occasional strolling through the beer section. And lieu of having a keg currently occupying the kegerator (because I just blew through it in no time) I took a stroll down to the local store to see what selection they had. Lately been sipping on more pilsners, specifically czech or German style pils. When my wife and I went to Europe a few years ago we were in Prague and some of the best beers I've ever had were there, and they were all pretty much pillsners. WhilebI know I can get some of the bigger European beers in the states none of them taste is good has over there and majority of th craft styles fall short. Closest to anything decent I've had here was a barsman pilsner that it's actually brewed by coors. You can only find it in very select pubs and country clubs, it also takes forever to pour, but is amazing. Well, I found something that has overtaken that. It's a czech style pilsner from Wood Boss brewing in Denver. I can't get enough of this stuff. Super crisp clean and an amazing beer to drink on a warm day, which we've had pretty awesome weather lately.
  3. Body guy I used to know feel off the face of the earth. I'm in the process of fixing my daily after getting swiped by a semi but I'm having to do it all myself. Could look into these guys. https://www.carsrememberwhen.com/ They offer full on restos and only work on classics. Imagine they aren't cheap though. Lot's of other shops for paint and body tend to hang out in Englewood.
  4. They say you can't because of the rzeppa drive shaft on older models, but you should be fine on a 03. I have a 04 with no issues.
  5. Gotcha, was going to say a lot more of hype for nothing.
  6. Only party Ford is crashing is the tow truck drivers easter plans...... Saw a new Bronco the other day like fiat said tiny and honestly just meh. Had to do a double take.
  7. 100% this. Getting it running good before trying to mess with it.
  8. If you're gonna bag something find a frame. Way too much work trying bag a unibody and a lowered Jeep looks like s h I t IMHO.
  9. Possibly in the front but the rear will still ratchet and bang.
  10. I run a lunchbox in the rear of my WJ. It's ok, noisy af on the street and can get annoying for DD. I don't daily the WJ so it's not a deal breaker but if I did I'd probably save a little more and get a LSD type diff. On my XJ I had a lunchbox in the front and it was noticeable in turns. The clicking isn't bad it the unloading and banging that occasionally happens that gets old. A Lunchbox does offer cheap traction and they work. Are you planning to run front and rear or just one?
  11. I can't remember everything but; TBI, manifold, entire harness, ECU, I know there are some sensors as well. Should be able to google it and get a detailed list.
  12. Absolutely, fairly bolt in for anyone with a carb that doesn't want to mess around with an aftermarket setup and way cheaper too. As Derf said tons of aftermarket to add it to other engines.
  13. So you can either just scrap it whole (places that buy junk cars or junkyards) and get a few hundred maybe. Other wise I'd pull the engine, all the TBI stuff, tranny and tcase, then scrap the rest. I believe on a 87 it would have a 700r5 and 241, both are decent. Axels will depend, doesn't look to be FF 14b rear so really not worth anything. With the TBI stuff you can sell that on eBay or local. When I had one of my K5's I picked up a TBI from the JY and then sold it after I sold my K5. I think I got $300ish for it. As torq mentioned gotta have somewhere to keep parts.

    Tires

I've ran a bunch of tires over the years. Personally not a fan of BFG's, on road they are fine but they've let me down in mud and snow more times than they should for the price, MTs do great in bad conditions but on the road noisy as hell. Currently on my WJ I have Falkens Wildpeak atw3 and really like them. Do great on snow, mud and on road. For the price best tires I've run. I ran General Grabbers on my old MJ and they did fine but never took them off road. Current MJ has Firestone MT's since it's not running can't comments on how they do. On my wifes GX I run Nokian AT and really like them. Do great in snow and nice for overall cruising around. The wear tends to be fairly quick but at the price again no complaints. I would find some with a 3 peak symbol in any case.

    Idaho?

A few years ago we considered moving there. We have a friend who lives in mountain home and my old boss was from Bosie. It's gorgeous but the population landscape is, "unique". There's a large mormon population ( not knocking it, just not for me) and that can be different if you aren't used to it. Basically be a part of it or be shunned. Then on the flip side you have the radical militia groups (more north along the WA border) mixed with a major meth problem and a bunch of people from CA taking it over. Our friend in mountain home likes it but it's small, she grew up there. So you're limited on something but Bosie isnt far. If I wasn't married with kids I'd definitely consider there or montana. I can't recall but I believe they have limited taxes which is nice.
  16. It's a gag but funny. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/813775265883871/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks Custom built jerp cherokee sport edition. Has fully custom hand built aero body kit, short throw dip stick, intercooler, lots of lights and many more. Currently has an air filter delete so I get a little more air injection for power. Also no muffler so she breaths better. Has NOS aswell (can be seen in interior pic). This thing eats honda civics and them subaru wrx cars all day. No rush to sell just seeing if anyone wants to own this beast. No low-ballers, I know what I got.
  17. Just no. If you want reliable don't engine swap it, keep the 4.0 and renix. I have the 4.7HO in my WJ and it's been rebuilt twice. Bought it with a dropped valve seat, rebuilt the engine dropped another valve seat. 4.7 is on borrowed time after 200. 4.0 will run for well over that and is cheaper overall. I could have built the 4.0 twice for the cost of the 4.7 once.
  18. When I need a quick burger fix I'll go to Good Times. They are only in CO but delicious. Otherwise 5 guys. May have to try whataburger though.
  19. Awesome! Thanks for the info. Look like we are going to be staying in mission beach. Originally had thought about oceanside but plan changed.
  20. Made a sledding ramp. Kid had a blast. We're at a foot and growing.
  21. Survived the first night of snowmageddon.
  22. Few weeks ago they called for a few inches got over a foot. Last year snowmegedon was going to happen and barley a dusting. Metrologist suck here, it's seriously a joke. Doesn't help all the rtards from texas and California that move hear and can't figure out it's the fn rockies and snow happens so freak out when a snow flake drops.
