I have two release handles one perfect for 60 and one with a slight fray for 35.

Not sure how much your invested, want to be into the project and if your attached to this particular MJ. Your skill level. But if it need alot of work, rust, 2wd, no ac, 2.5l things you want or need you could always sell it and buy another with the features you want. Just a thought.

not sure your price range but this popped the other day for me. i asked the guy about the axles he started at $800 for a D30 with spartan locker and 44 w welded diff. comes with steering, track bar too. not sure if that is a good deal or not or if he can be talked down. Got it all back together and it appears the problem has been solved. It has 5 gallons in it and runs. I need to go on a longer drive for the full test.
