Currently is the 4.0 with a 2wd 5 speed transmission. I have a ax15 to go in and thought my existing "guts" were still usable. Other than what's currently being ran in my truck just the transmission and t case
I don't have any idea what I'm talking about, sadly. I just some some transmissions I thought ah crap i don't have that and thought I was going to have to spend money.
I have a 4.0, 2wd, and a 5 speed. I have an ax15 to swap in as i do my 4x4 swap. Will the fly wheel and torque converter I currently have still work or will I need different ones?
I do. I was given the option to buy my gen 4 .40 cal for $325 from the PD, its rotating out. I have the exact pistol already is the issue. Do I NEED it?
I'm sold, I'll be getting one. My question to the manufacturer is,
If I have a 231 transfer case hooked to a wrangler ax15 will the XJ linkage work?
If I recall the t case I have will be clocked a bit different after install.
Rather than start another leak thread I'll add here if that's ok. The leaks continue for me. Do I just call it quits and pull the carpet. I could then rhino line it and shop vac the water out when it appears.
I recieved a damaged part in the mail from carpart.com. see bent flange in photos. It's on a dana 30 drivers side 2001.
Can this be fixed by bending it back? Does the flange do anything, can it be slightly bent?
The reason I ask is it was almost $200. Carpart is sending me a new one and said keep this one. If I can use it or sell it I'd like to recover some of the cost.
Thought?
