  1. I would say no because I have a 2" budget boost with factory shocks and soon after installation my shocks started to leak.. And it got very rough so I would say no. There is a cheap shock upgrade which is the JK shock upgrade from '07-'12 wrangler. Some people say they work for 2"-4" lift I would say more of 2"-3".. Go to jeep forum and search for a write up. Hope this helps.
  2. Are there any write ups on HOW TO do the JK shock upgrade? Like what is in involved? Thanks
  3. Put me in line for ravines and duratracs! Pm me the price
  4. Watched a Truck U recording today, and saw that they were working on an MJ for the Zmax. Only thing I didn't like was, they never called it a Comanche..
  5. Could be the track bar bracket itself, could have rounded out like mine is. Just haven't had time to buy a new one
  6. Awesome! I must try
  7. Check/tighten all your intake/exhaust manifold bolts.
  8. I like AR23 the best. If you sell your ravines, let me know.
  9. Check the wires to the starter. I had a no click once and my ground wire clip came off of the starter
  10. Thanks guys. I never thought of the one control arm at a time but thank you
  11. I searched for this but only found torque specs for the control arms.. I am hoping to install some WJ lower control arms on the MJ fairly soon and want to do it right. I want to know where to put the jackstands, on the axle itself, or on the frame/unibody? I don't want the axle to move/push forward once I disconnect the lower control arms, if that makes since? All help is appreciated Thanks, P.S. if there is a link for a 'how to' just message it to me and i will delete this, if this is unneccesary. Thanks again

  13. Little harsh there cruiser54... The intake and header on 88 MHD share the same bolts to mount, so if you think your only tightening the header you're also tightening the intake which is good also, just don't over torque. And try google to figure out how many bolts, bound to be someone out there to answer lol. If I knew I would tell you.
  14. I know a lot of people are going to Uwharrie, here in NC, those exact dates..
  15. What about 98-02 honda accords? 4 cyl
  16. Yeah, it was a cheap one though, from rock auto, the one before was OEM with 130k miles on it, so I figured I would replace it. I was looking on 4wd and saw a rubicon express bracket, but it has the 'hinge type' attachment. I'm thinking about getting a new one because I heard some good things about them, but money is tight right now, until I sell my Wrangler (Friday) so ideas would be great.
  17. Ok, I replaced the sway bar links, and I think my sway bar could be bent... The right side is about 3/4" away from coil spring and the left side (passenger) is about 1/2"-3/8" away from the coiul spring. Also, I do believe it is my track bar mount that is making the noise. I got under it today while my brother turned the wheel and I could feel the track bar clunking near the mount as it made the noise. Is there somewhere I could get another mount? Like stock? Thanks guys!
  18. If you buy that computer for $50 I might be able to stop by, my girlfriend lives in SPartanburg and go there from time to time, we could work on it.

  20. Ok awesome. Thanks!
  21. Where would be a good place to get one?
  22. I believe the sway bar to the link on drivers side is hitting the coil spring it is very close to it. Almost touching. What do I do?
  23. explains road force, really just talking about their machine, we have one similar at school. it's awesome
