i got it to go in a little more and yes there is a ridge on mine i just wanted to make sure how to install it properly because the one that was in and the one on my truck currently stick out a little

i wanted to know if this was in far enough or if it should go all the way to the end because the old one and the one on my mj stick out like this

so if i swap th knuckles i would use my hubs from my 87 also on a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to swap knuckles? ive never tried it but it seems like it would be pretty simple

hey eagle thanks for all that info, if i were to swap in the entire assembly(brakes hubs rotors knuckles, etc.)would it work fine in my 87?

i went to the yard today and all they had was a non disco 30 with 3.54/3.55s from a 90 my question is what do u guys do with the vac lines when u get rid of the disconnect, and the guy kept say that i would have to swap out the knuckles and the brakes but he never told me why anybody have any idea wth he could have been talking about, also would it make any difference if i had 3.55s on one end and 3.54s on the other?

well if the decals are factory then its a pioneer

i was gonna make one for mine but i felt lazy and i found a universal one that would have fit but the price was too much to want to buy something thats universal that may not fit

iwould kill two birds with one stone and get a d44 or ford 8.8 and a matching dana 30 and put them in with the lift that way u only have to worry about the t case when it comes time to make it 4x4

whats the part number for the anti wrap spring perches for a dana 44 i may pick up some 2wd leaves and go soa to replace my 3 in aal
