Well if your grounding in the engine bay I would tap into the front lights at the front left of the vehicle -

ok, so you replaced the temp sensor on the back of the head, just trying to verify has these have two temp sensors. as for the fuel gauge it sounds like a bad gauge to me, if you would can you un-plug and re-plug the connections on the back of the cluster. I know they suck to do but if they don't go in just right it screws with the fuel gauge

What year did the gauges come out of? Which temp sender did you replace? A quick check for the temp gauge, ground out the temp wire that goes to the sender on the back of the head, if it goes hot it's probably a bad sender. As for the fuel, do you mean it only work from half to empty?

To check open and closed loop is on the scanner, those codes are codes Chrysler cars all have, 55- end of codes 12 battery disconnected. How's the exhaust look? Has it stumbled since the plug change?
