  1. :huh???: he is talking monopaly money right?
  2. i just noticed there is a 2" piece coming from my airbox going into the engine mines gone is that important, and wots it dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo? I think you are asking about the preheat hose. it should come from a shroud around your exhaust to your air box. the idea of it is to warm the engine up faster in winter time by puting warm air in the intake. for those of us down here in the South and have know idea what a snow plow is and why you want it on the front of your MJ have long ago pulled it out of our MJ/XJ
  3. Here is just one of many ways to cool a hot engine. http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoBonnetVents.htm
  4. First you need to remove the vent window frame and forward track. There are two torx screws at the top of the door frame and a bolt inside the door. Remove the vent window frame and forward track by tilting it back then pulling it out. Now you will have the room need to slide in the window. While you are in there you may want to change the window seals and lube the window regulator track. :brows: and make sure you remove all the broken glass so you do not get a clogged drain hole and start rusting out the bottom of the door later :wall: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20299&hilit=replace+side+window

  6. It is nice to see that I am not the only one on here that has a 1990 MJ that knows how to swim.
  7. did you replace the throwout bearing and the pilot bearing? both will give you the problem you describe when they are wore out. :( yes there is a spacer on the external slave on my 86 XJ and MJ. :hmm: but my 90 MJ and 88,89 XJs have internal slaves :dunno:
  8. I was wandering were my gremlins had gone too. when I first got my 86 MJ a lot of the inside lights and suff did not work. but the more I used the truck the more stuff started to work on it own. I still have a few things that do not work like the dome lights and the right speaker. when the weather turns nice again and I get some time off I will start chasing them :wall:
  9. you may have poorly rebuild ones and one of them has gone bad again.
  10. looks nice. I have seen the pilot license plate lights at Vato Zone. that had one that would turn red if you hooked it up to your brake lights.
