  1. It doesn't help that you have the wrong size terminals on your wires. You should use RED ones, those yellow ones are for much thicker gauge wire and may not crimp correctly on your wire, leaving a lot of wiggle room on your connections.
  2. I run the same shocks, and was told that Bilsteins are supposed to be mounted with their logo facing upright. I ended up just cutting the boots off so they wouldn't be dirt catchers.
  3. https://www.phoenixgraphix.com/jeep.php makes nice decals. I did make some graphics for the new style "Comanche" font, but ultimately I went with the Conthrax SB font instead for cleaner results. https://www.dafont.com/conthrax.font
  4. Love the look of this truck. BTW your rear shocks are upside down.
  5. You guys have probably seen pictures of dudes in 3rd world countries welding using beer bottles for lenses, cardboard boxes for welding helmets, etc. Well my friends and I decided to try out some of these methods over the weekend, to disasterous results. Lots of profanity in this one so be forewarned. And my MJ is in the background so technically it's MJ related, right?
  6. Thanks, and you're right I forgot I even had the drop hitch on it haha.
  7. Mishimoto 3 core aluminum radiators are tough to beat, but they're like $450+. I've scored a couple off ebay that were open box and paid half price with no issues. Otherwise try these guys: https://ffdynamics.com/products/ols/products/cherrad
  8. There's my cutting board!
  9. I really appreciate that!
  10. I talked to a couple shops and the going rate was $300 for the doors and the back slider. I got 20% all around.
  11. I've built a few PVS-14 night vision optics, and decided to document the build process on my last one. I like these for star gazing more than anything else.
  12. AC Delco D6088 is the part you want. https://amzn.to/3YLbWHx I used to pull these from the junkyard but nowadays most are all rusted and corroded. Super easy fix, just unbolt the old switch, unplug it, install the new one.
  13. I upgraded almost all my interior...except the bench seat! If I want buckets I have my XJ. Love the bench + column shift combo.
  14. It is, get in any 97+ stock XJ and try the wipers. The wipers move 2x as fast, you can watch the video. Better grounds always help but I doubt they would make your wipers function 2x as fast. The 01 XJ motor replaced a NOS motor I had been using.
  15. If I had to guess someone sold the 44 from your rig years ago. Even if the 44 needed parts it would've been easier to fix it than to swap in a whole nother axle, unless the housing was toast or it needed new gears.
  16. Yes this would be ideal, but given the lack of slack and space for the harness under the cowl it was easier to splice the pigtail on the motor on my workbench. I'm a man of convenience!
  17. If yours didn't have the intermittent delay then you'll probably have to replace your turn signal stalk (aka: multi-function switch), and add the intermittent wiper control module.
  18. The Fey bumper has 2 sets of mounting points, so you should be able to get it to fit. Maybe you'll have to use some spacers? When I added a hitch to my MJ I had to fab some 1/2" spacers because the bumper wouldn't fit on the original brackets in the same position, because of the added width of the hitch plates.
  19. Rockauto says the 86 MJ uses the same motor as the other year MJs so it should!
  20. Please do, I'm actually honored! Can't tell you how many times I've been on your site over the years to fix my rig, thanks cruiser!
