  1. Start with verifying the actual voltage. Doing the ground refreshing is ALWAYS a good idea. See Post 1 in the link below.
  2. That's for a 4.0 though. Dang. Napa carries that stuff but it's hidden in an obscure place in their paper parts book. Have the guy at Napa find the ones in the book for the 4.0 listed in #22 and see if you can identify yours on the same page.
  3. What brand of oil filter did you use? Tick or knock? Which part of the engine? Here's a thread to check out: http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/how-fix-flexplate-knocking-125547/
  4. Glad to hear it's running better. Rockers are not adjustable however. Shine a light into the oi lfiller hole and see what kind of sludge build-up there is on the rockers etc. Seafoam in oil or through the intake? Auto trans?
  5. We get to see all the MJs he drags home, don't we?
  6. Wedding photos?
  7. With a Fram oil filter..............
  8. Check to see if you have a clogged exhaust. See Post 16 in my link below.
  9. Washer? You mean I didn't need to climb a ladder 10 feet to the attic of my garage, measure said spare CPS bolts? Dang.
  10. Thread is 7mm X 1.0 Length from tip of threads to bottom of the bolt head is 1". Of that 1", the bottom half is obviously threads. The shoulder of the top half is 5/16" or 8mm in diameter.
  11. PHONE dial rims!!
  12. Those^^. Got em on 2 of my Jeeps. Wide, too.
  13. They are indeed special.
  14. Maybe poor quality cap? With the engine running, does the distributor wobble at all? Use only cap and rotor with brass contacts.
  15. Nice job of organizing and getting it done!!
  16. Kinda sorta but not really. ECU fires the injectors sequentially with the engine firing order based on info from the "sync generator" inside the distributor. If it gets a crappy signal, it just guesses. I have never fixed a driveability issue with a sync generator replacement. Only way we ever knew they were bad was when we spotted it while testing for something using the factory tester. Go unplug yours and see how it runs.
  17. Limited XJs with towing package also had the 28mm bar.
  18. 4. Do it so you WON'T have issues 10. Quick and easy. 18. Preventative and a nice improvement. 19. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CERAMIC-H4-HEADLIGHT-RELAY-WIRING-HARNESS-2-HEADLAMP-LIGHT-BULB-SOCKET-PLUGS-7X6-/330813121438?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item4d05ffa39e
  19. Have you ever refreshed the relay bank relays and receptacles? The Relay is triggered by the ECU to fire the pump. See if you have a fuel pump ballast resistor on the driver's side inner fender near the air cleaner.
  20. Interesting twist on the C101 elimination. One thing I am concerned about is that the crimps in the ground circuit are still there. Post 6 helps you narrow this down. How does it idle with the TPS set at .84? Are you shooting for .75 for some reason?
  21. I don't know about ZJs. I have seen the Laredo XJs with 28 mm front bars along with Limiteds.
  22. XJs? I thought ZJs were the only ones with the beef? Ah.. You're thinking sway bar envy. XJs had the big one all along.
  23. Many XJ Laredos with the towing package had the 28mm front swaybar.
