Or knows you can reads lips... :) I got bit by only one scam: A polite young man called and said he was with the telephone company, and they were testing the lines (or something like that), and would I please dial 9 and hang up. I forget how much the bill was, but my Mrs. called that woman in Washington and chewed her ear pretty good.

Will theses wheels fit a Jeep comanche
Hypoid replied to ComancheLee's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
This is the set I put on my XJ: http://www.seriousoffroadproducts.com/Wheels/Adapters-Spacers/Rugged-Ridge/Wheel-Adaptor-Pair-Black-Rugged-Ridge-5-On-4.5-To-5-On-5-Bolt-Pattern-1.375-Inch-Thick-Jeep Like you, I had a set of take-offs. I couldn't sell them for a reasonable price, and eventually I needed tires. Since the JK wheels have deeper back spacing, the adapter spacing brings the tire out, but keeps the tread inside the flare. -
I googled for my last RA purchase, 5%. Maybe I should actually read those emails they send to me.

Being comfortable is a good thing!

Yup! It is kind of like watching hem-lines get shorter... :D

A guy in Colorado is bringing this to market: Image Not Found It includes a support for the steering sector shaft: Detailed info here: http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1136693

The carrier will have to come out. If you like new challenges and have money for the learning curve, you can rebuild it yourself. Otherwise, take the axle (or truck) to a competent shop. BTW, congrats!

You have to use a photo hosting site, then copy the URL for the image to the "picture" button. EDIT: DOH! you figured it out. It is always nice to look under an XJ or MJ and see one of these. :) One thing to note is that some D-44s have three ribs like the one pictured, others have a single, thick rib.

Looks like the XJ bracket. If it is the same, pay for the ride and I'll mail one to you from 80403.

First, if there is water in the air, there is water in your compressor tank. Second, you never stated if your compressor pump seized up, the motor failed, or the tank rusted through. Third, if you get a bottle of gas (any gas) from a welding supply, never leave the valve open. Facilities that refill those bottles make the effort to keep moisture out of their finished product, thus, the recommendation to keep pressure on those bottles when they are effectively discharged.

WOW! I'd even try to adapt those to fit my '90. When you look at the proportions, the seat cushion looks longer on the newer seats. To the OP, ask for a picture of the front mounting point. Another difference is the earlier seats have a lever on the seat back for a recline position. -

100% sure ? 1000% sure. ;) I own a '90 Limited, with junkyard seats I pulled from another Limited. I wish I could find another set that nice for U-Pull prices. -

Something wrong with that picture...

The MAP sensor feeds information to the computer that runs the engine. The diagnostic port is where you hook up the appropriate scan tool. Leave them alone.

I'll make the apples to oranges comparison, hopefully it will be beneficial to you: 1) I got a SCREAMIN!!! deal on some JK Sahara wheels with 255/70-18 tires. They are the same "nominal" 32-inches tall and 10-inches wide. I installed them with 1-3/8-inch thick adapters, so I think the wheel/tire center line is less than 1/2-inch outboard of the stock location. I was really happy the tread did not stick out past the flares at the top; just my preference. 2) My XJ has a Frankenstein lift, roughly 4-inches in the front, 5-inches in the back. It has JKS Quick Disconnects on the front sway bar. I secure them at the top of the wheel well when I go off road. With the tires at full stuff, they rub the stock flares. If I have a front wheel at full stuff and am turning away from that wheel, the tread shoulder catches on the sway bar disconnect. With your planned lift, and the offset these wheels have, you would hopefully have enough clearance to avoid rubbing. I'll be waiting for those pictures.

Pffffft! You need to quit sand-baggin' us and post a picture with the new tires and wheels installed!

255/75 is roughly a 10-inch section width, I vote you try them on for size! :)

Anyone else have SO that keep there projects in check?

She doesn't worry at all about my projects; she keeps the money in check. :laughin: -
running with the fuel pump disconnected?
Hypoid replied to omega_rugal's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I found the 4.0 can idle on 15 lbs of fuel pressure. -
No, I have not. I have noticed that after closing my browser, and re-opening it, and opening the bookmark to this page, I need to log in again. I have not noticed this behavior on other sites that I visit.
