Yellaheep. Is that a '47 Oldsmobile in the garage with it's grill showing over the hood? Or possibly a early '50's Ford with a olds grill? :hmm:

Did you try letting the air out of the tires?

what years will swap with a '92 XJ blower motor?

^ Got to agree with Rob on this one.

You're asking the impossible. Only YOU know the answer to that. The rest of us? We don't know how good of a welder you are. We don't know how good you are at landscaping, and none of us knows what the future holds. Top welders are always in demand. Problem is it may be in another area from you. Landscaping seems spotty to me. I know nothing about landscaping but that's just what I think. Could you do landscaping part time until the need for welders comes back? Maybe take a temporary welding job in another area until things improve at home. Maybe put the ol lady and kids to work .Or are they already? Sorry. When I sold my well drilling business I was offered a job in the gulf as a diver, welder. Sorry, I can't stand being underwater.

Bad news. Neither one of the DNR"s work. I should have checked them B4 I said anything. If you want to take a chance on a shop repairing one I'll send you one for the postage. The Chrysler unit works great. Radio and tape. $40 shipped. Let me know. Sorry about that. Also it's about time for me to hit the P&P. Never know what you'll find there.

At this point, I wouldn't rule it out.

The most I have ever paid for a MJ was $600 and oddly enough it the worst shape of any of the others I got for $400-$500. I look for a good body. The mechanics, wiring can be repaired, replaced. I will buy a rusted out clap bucket if it has good mechanics to swap out. About the best running MJ I ever got was a '89 for $100. It was also the rustiest. .

To my surprise they were nice and shiny No rust. I didn't mike them but they appear to be OK.

Actually Don it will go directly to ground thru the Blue wire attached at the back of the compressor. And yes they were crappy pics. I should have waited until manana and took a better one but I was impatient.

Are these what you're looking for?

You would have to ask him. I don't know. I also don't know why he hooked that wire, the AC clutch wire and the hot wire from the harness together. They're all 3 twisted together where the 2 Blue wires disappear into the harness.

If you were close enough to come get them, I'd give them to ya. Since I gotta pull them, $5 for the pair. Don't know what shipping would be. -
Been out all day getting my latest acquisition ready for the road. 1990 MJ, 4.0, 5spd, 2WD. The PO had a field day under the hood with a pair of wire cutters. How come when there's only one it's called a pair? I digress. Does any body see anything wrong with the wiring in these pics? They're 3 peeps here I expect will catch it, Cruiser, Don and Pat. Hint. It blows AC fuse minute I turn the AC on. We'll see. Not very good pics but was the best I could do holding trying to hold 2 wiring harnesses and take a pic.

800MPH? 1100MPH? Damn!!! That's faster than my red MJ.

They have no effect on bearing spacing. They are necessary to keep crud out of the brake system. Calipers, pads don't work so well if they are jammed up with crud. -

Goldie. 1977 J20. Haven't had too many people pull out in front of me when driving it down the street And it's canary yellow, if the color has anything to do with it. . -
I had been soaking the nuts with Liquid Wrench for a week before trying to remove them. On the early flat heads there were 10 bolts and 5 studs holding the head on. Somebody messed with this one and all 15 were studs. Usually when a nut was froze to the stud, the stud would screw out of the block. No problem. The 2 middle studs screwed out but none of the others would budge. With the cheater bar I got 7 more nuts off, leaving 6 to go. I finally got the torch and heating the nut until it was cherry red, I got the rest of them off. The only thing that surprised was that I didn't shear any studs off.

I don't think the threat of a lawsuit is the reason. I think that when they see something crappy and or junky they figure the guy driving it doesn't give a damn and would just as soon hit them as look at them. -
You may have noticed in my posts that there are twice as many pics as really needed. There is a reason for that. It took me over 6 months to learn how to post a pic so now I'm just making up for it. Besides, lot's of pics spices up an otherwise dull post. :D
