Got a wild fire burning along the river bottom a couple miles East of me. That area is just covered with dead cottonwood trees and brush. The little town of Fowler is right in its path. They got a call out for every piece of fire equipment that can be spared to every town around. Can't see the fire itself but can see the glow over the horizon. And the wind sure isn't helping. If it ain't one thing it's another.
Remove the back panel so you can see the speakers. Note the wire colors. It will be the same colors under the dash where the wires were cut. Also you can take a D cell, 1 1/2 volt battery. Find a good ground for the negative side of the battery. Touch each of wires, one at a time, to the pos terminal of the bat. You will hear a click coming from which ever speaker you're touching.
Wanted to know how much I wanted for the Red MJ sitting in the corner of the yard. We discussed it, agreed on a price. He's coming over later today and check it out.
Back in 1957 when I first designed the MJ and submitted it to management they all laffed and said "Forget it. Nobody wants to buy a small truck." :???:
"Dude, the 80s were the best decade ever."
Not quite. With the exception of the Korean Incident, the '50's were IT! Rock & Roll. Elvis,"The King" Presley, '55 Chevy,
I find it lust as easy to remove either one or both motor mounts and let the engine drop, with a stand under it, Gives plenty of room for anything you want to do.
I don't think there is any such thing as a 'best Jeep for a girl.' If she's a tom boy she will want one of the off road sporty ones. If she's the more demure lady type a waggoneer type. Surely you have some friends with Jeeps that will let her drive one around the block. And there's always the dealer with his demos.
It's the pulley. Never noticed B4 but the but the face of the center hub is flush with the outer edge of the pulley. I need one where the it's recessed approx. 7/16 of an inch. Can't believe it but the only pulley I have like that is on a good engine. Not going to be tearing it apart. Anybody here got the one I need? Or am I going to have to make a run to the Used Parts Emporium? Junk yard.
That's what I thought. But on this one altho the holes are there , there isn;t anything in them nor is there any evidence of anything having ever been there.
The PS pump went out on my '87 2.5 and I'm having a heck of a time replacing it. Did the original factory set up have a reservoir built into the pump or was it fastened to the radiator brace? On my current set up the pump pulley is 1/2 inch out of alignment to the rear of the rest of the pulleys.Needless to say it goes thru belts pretty good. I have a 1986 and a 1989 FSM and they're no help.
It's ALL Don's fault. People ask him if his truck is for sale. He tells them $50,000. They figure well Hell. If his is worth Fifty g's then mine is worth (put figure here).
