  1. Thanks for the info. It was just odd to see the parking brake arm on the front shoe and the adjustment pawl on the back shoe. Got it all back together and they work fine.
  2. Has anyone seen this before?
  3. I just recently acquired a 1986 Comanche 4x4 LWB with the 2.8l and AX5 trans. I am in the process of going through all the mechanical stuff to get her back on the road. I am redoing the rear brakes now and have a question about the parking brake cables. The cables enter the backing plates from the rear. I have looked at countless diagrams, pics and scoured this site but have not been able to find anything that shows this type of set up. I did find one post on here where a guy said he had two 86's and they both had the cables entering from the rear. But no other info than that. Even the service manuals I have looked at always have them entering from the front. It is a amc/dana 35. Anybody have any info on this? It seems to be only the 86's that were set up like this. Thanks in advance.
