Truck dies after removing jumper cables
madog7200 replied to GeorgiaJeeper93's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Is that true even if the battery was drained to the point where it won't hold a charge? one time I jumped my brothers old XJ off, drove it to the auto parts store, and left it running while they tried to charge the battery for me. Disconnected the battery while the engine was running and it kept on truckin without a battery for over an hourHow on earth is this possible? Diesel is tho only thing I can come up with Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk- 38 replies

Thats very similar to the TJ shifter I had, mine was more upside down teardrop shaped but still just round and it felt great too... i was thinking of going oem but I'm not sure I'll like the feel of the not perfectly round shape? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

Just wanted to take a poll or whatever and see what all types of shifter knobs everyone has.... i broke mine and am looking for something to replace it with. What I had was a typical TJ shifter so I'm leaning more towards that Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

You're saying to just put the lower part in a vise and basically beat the top portion off? Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk -

Wanting another 4.0 HO... nothing really went wrong but there was a lot of blow by and we were trying to replace the rear main but the PO sprayed some sort of adhesive to hold it in place so we were going to have to drop the crank... which led us to decide to pull the motor and rebuild it... After the motor was pulled and some research was done we decided that it would be more cost efficient to buy a reman with a warranty rather than rebuild and have no warranty Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

I have a 2000 wrangler and the exhausted vents were removed from the hardtop when I had it painted. Luckily they weren't broken when they were removed but the rubber piece that goes inside it was damaged. So I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to get a rubber piece to replace it without having to buy a whole new venture assembly since they are like 70 bucks a piece... I know this is a comanche forum but I don't have an account on a wrangler forum and I figured someone here would know anyways lol... Thanks in advance guys!! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
