Hey guys, I'm very close to buying a long awaited lj... i would prefer a 6 speed manual but they are harder to come by, and I'm coming around to the idea of having an auto instead. the simple question I have is for you guys (whose opinions I hold much higher than just random people online) is what yalls thoughts are on the auto... I had questions and actually spoke to denny himself... they are very accommodating! Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk

  12. Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've been on here, hope all is well for everyone I'll start off by saying that I'm terrible with electrical jobs and stuff like that but I do work at a big truck shop and had one of our best electrical technicians take a look Halfway through this past summer my A/C quit working which sucked but I figured I'd just deal with it until I got around to fixing it... I've now noticed that my aux fan doesnt work either and after doing some research I've come to the idea that both problems are probably linked, but I can't figure out what is wrong... I have to g
  13. By dummy cluster do you mean the cluster without the tach? 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  14. There are some on Ebay but the cheapest ones are around 100 bucks... that just seems crazy to me 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  15. I would be fine with one that has around 80,000... I just need something... right now I'm driving to and from work (80 miles round trip) with no cluster because I broke my old odometer/ trip meter 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  16. I have heard (never researched this myself) that the fitbits and apple watch type things can not be trusted, that they are only correct a certain percentage of the time? I don't wear one so I have no true knowledge just something i remember hearing on the radio 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  17. Saw that one coming.... and how do I fix the trip meter? 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  18. I'm in desperate need of an odometer... would be willing to buy the whole cluster if necessary... I need one with mileage as close to zero as possible 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  19. Guys I understand completely that it is not only illegal (not to mention completely morally wrong) if I'm doing this to try and sell the truck to someone under false pretenses.... I simply don't want to have to do math every time I think to myself "I wonder how many more miles I've got until my next oil change?".... on top of that, I never plan on selling the truck in the first place, and even if i did there is no way i would be able to live with myself knowing that I had lied to someone... 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  20. I never even thought to ask you bud, but it makes sense that you have gone through this too 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  21. Forgot to take pics, but I figured I'd update yall anyway... Took on the task of removing the dash this morning to find where that pesky hose connects to... Had to undo everything and remove everything to free the dash and the other end of that hose was lying behind the vents that are in the upper portion in the middle of the dash, just to the right of the radio... All in all, less on learned... don't jam a new radio into its slot if you feel any blockage, something is bound to let go lol 1991, 4.0 HO, 4X4, 5 speed, AX-15 Short bed, Rusty's Offroad add a leaf
  22. I'm rolling back my odometer since I swapped engines and I was just wondering if anyone has a pic of what the trip meter looks like when functional... my bottom gear spins but the numbers don't roll over.... Also might be interested in buying an analog odometer if anyone has one lying around Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah so I guess all thats left to figure out is how the hose I have connects to it Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. I'm not really sure what this last comment means... I guess I'm going a little dumb? What does WOT mean and is the "reservoir" the canister that everyone relocates up beside the fuse box in the engine bay? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  25. These are the pictures I came up with from the HVAC service manual looks to me like it's the line going from 2 and 11 to the reservoir... but idk what reservoir its talking about Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
