Got a quick chance to test voltage....only seeing 4.81V at the connector. Not good....I'm gonna back probe this afternoon, if this is like my TPS issue then there's corrosion somewhere I need to find. Question: Is this 5 VDC the same as the 5VDC at the TPS? I'd like to check it in reference to the TPS ground (a known good signal ground) and see if I can eliminate the ground or the +5V side from my troubleshooting.

Or was that a couple of years later? Heard those turbo engines were really hot and easy to goose up for even more Zoom-Zoom!Oh yeah. Turbocharged 2.3 L good for about 275/275 from the factory. Easy to hit 300hp with just a tune, start throwing parts on it and you can be in the 550+ hp range real quick. I've embarrassed many a new 5.0 'stang with my little hatch... Worked on Rambo last weekend, installed the headlight relay harness, replaced the valve cover gasket, vacuumed out the inside. Started up afterwards and got a CEL. Checked it today and got 12-14-13-55. 12 & 55 were expected. 13 &14 deal with the MAP sensor. Tried to start and it turns over and coughs but doesn't quite catch, even when holding the gas pedal (sorry, I'm still a carb guy with carb habits). Disconnected the MAP, hard to start but will, just doesn't like to idle (duh no MAP signal). Grabbed a spare MAP and swapped it in (high quality GM junkyard unit). Exact same issues. No start with, hard start disconnected. Already reset the codes by disconnecting battery and touching + to -. Tried it all again. No difference. Any ideas? Turns out that the JIS bolts were the better of the two. (I liked the smaller hex and slightly larger flange, although both fit fine). One for bolt swapped (lower hinge): All the upper bolts swapped: Bolt comparison: Tool used (size 40 torx) : Hope this helps! Also, don't force getting the old bolts out....I nearly stripped 2 in the passenger's door so now I'll have to pull the fender and use my impact to drive them out with the door off the truck. No set screw in the AX-15 shifter. Put lower piece in a vise and use a big punch (brass is best) and a hammer. They will come apart....I just did mine to replace the rubber seal atop the shift tower that keeps air/ water out of the cab. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

Ewww. Not as sure then. I just rebuilt mine and reinstalled with an external slave (swapped from internal). I had a little lube on the splines of the input shaft and make sure your shift tower isn't hitting. I took mine off then reinstalled after the crossmember was installed.
