  1. CW was saying they gave more than the advertised lift, and a few hours ago I put up a post on his thread asking if he could measure. That'd be one tall MJ!
  2. I'll check it out some time, prob not till spring, or till I start investing a LOT more money into propane for the heater.
  3. CW, can you get a measurement from your hub to bedrail? I know you moved your flares up, so you can't make an accurate hub-to-flare measurement, but I was curious how tall you are in back. You did Rusty's 4" springs and 2" Chevy drop shackles?
  4. Yeah, I just went through all of the rims TireRack sells, and it wasn't on there, but I've seen those rims quite a few times. :dunno:
  5. But you'd have to grind off all the link brackets and the coil buckets, so that kinda sucks too.
  6. Yeah, was just curious if you had tried em since all the Toys run em anymore, but they've got a different frame width.
  7. I just hate the traffic, and people honking at me cause my DD tops out at 45... Oh well.
  8. That'd be a fine alternative to a few other gifts.
  9. His wheels are pimpalicious. Spacer the steering or those rims, but don't get rid of em!
  10. thats probably MORE expensive... Mostly trying to keep him away from the fixed arms.
  11. Long arms would be another option. My fixed arms (the ones with the kink) barely clear at 5", so I wouldn't use them for anything bigger.
  12. Snap! Is that guy's shoulder bending the rollbar?
  13. Post 1000! As long as you're being helpful, who cares?
  14. You're talking about the caps as in a canopy, or bed rail caps?
  15. Any ideas over here? I'm not sure who all's where. I'm in the middle of OR, and I know we've got a couple from WA, 1 from SoCA, and 2 from the middle.
  16. I'm gonna start a west coast thread, cause I don't think us west coast guys'll end up in Tellico...
  17. A 7" rim is a good width rim for holding a bead. I wouldn't go any wider on a tire so narrow.
  18. If those brackets are staying in the truck, might as well cut em. Not like you'll end up selling them if you're keeping them.
  19. --MJ main --Exp main --Exp #2 --MJ # 3 --Exp overload got Pete 20.75" hub to fender flare. Stock is ~20.50", that's .75" drop. A complete guess on my part would say that an Explorer pack would drop the truck 1.5", and going SOA would net 3.5 - 5" of lift. If you don't want to lift it by going SOA, or just don't intend on lifting it yet, these springs probably wouldn't be a good plan, unless you like sniffing potholes.
  20. The Explorer/Manche springs dropped Pete's truck a bit, so SOA wouldn't be as much lift, I don't believe.
  21. I put a picture of your truck on the thread about updated interiors last week! Nice to see another good build!
  22. Some prerunner stuff: Three wheelers... Mmm, Jeep... I was trying to avoid Toyotas, but... (this one's not finished, hence the missing coil from the dual rates)
  23. It's to ride the bull!!! Pull it upward and rock back and forth and it swivels on some axis. Ride that $#!&!
  24. I was considering it, but I've never built anything to sell, and don't trust myself enough. Sorry.
  25. How much does Rusty's charge?
