why so much lift for 33's? I can understand if you don't want to cut it up, it looks nice. but I've been running 34's on 3" of lift with those same wheels, I love the low CG. But I also cut up the fenders pretty aggressively. I'm very comfortable with the CoG even on 31s at this lift height, and will be adding the .25" for asthetics only to match the 4" Rusty's springs I'll be getting for the rear. I wheel this truck as hard as possible, but still have to drive the lady around in it, and she's hard to please.

Was driving, and suddenly the speedo went from highway speed to zero, and now it's stuck at zero. I'm thinking to first check where it's held on at the t-case, then check the gear on the t-case, then make sure it's all good behind the gauge cluster. This sound good or is there something more common? '86 2.5 auto, full gauges.

4.75" on front (3" coils 1.75" spacers) with 31x10.5 XTerrains on 15x8s with 3.75" of backspacing. Don't have a good side shot at hand right now, but they're a hair small. I'll be running 33s soon and am only swapping to 5" coils.

The only thing I have against Toyos is the price. For $10, price is not an issue.

But the only 'Manche carb in the US was the 2.8 in '86. Why not run the Scout drivetrain?

if you part that out, it *should* have 4.56 gears. '86 with an AW4?

I hang my crossmember on things without a drop on it. Like stated, a t-case drop is for vibes, not d-shaft length adjustment. You need to get your d-shaft extended.

The wheel well on MJs is both longer and taller, so if you did fill in the top and push the flair forward with a huge gap behind the flairs, the tire would no longer be in the wheel well. Run on sentence from me!

Only 2.8L V6s were carbed.

I looked everywhere for these and couldn't find a set. I ended up ordering 1.75" poly spacers from Energy Suspension for $32 I think, and it came with 1/2" poly isolators in the box! Anyone needing new isolators keep this in mind, cause I'll end up forgetting.

The dealerships bit my butt before, but sometimes they're the only people to go to. I know I can get any set of speakers in town, new, cheaper than I can get them on eBay. Used is a different story.
