Yes they are upside down. They are modified dakota tail lights. They fit in better that way. -

here are some pictures of work from the past few days. The tail lights obviously aren't the right size, so I'll have to figure something out to get a better fit. Rockauto messed up and sent me the wrong grill. I ordered a black 10 slot. This will have to work for now though. -
Are these the belts I need?

Disregard. I figured it out! -

So, I'm changing the belts today. I got the alternator belt on without too much trouble. Now I cannot figure out how to get the power steering pulley to move so I can get the belt on. Any ideas? -

Ordered 95% of the parts I needed today. After they arrive and are installed, I'll only be lacking a rear bumper and tag/registration. Then I can DD it while I do the cosmetic stuff. -

Gotcha. I'll roll the dice and order those. I guess worst case, I have no a.c, which is what windows are for anyway. Lol Thanks for all your help! -

Thank you for that. Just curious, when I went to order them, it says w/o ac, but my truck has ac. Is that normal? -

Anyone know what the other belt I need would be, or how I can figure it out? I'm stumped. -
Center console options?

Center console options?
GeorgiaJeeper93 replied to GeorgiaJeeper93's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Bench right now, buckets in the future. -
So my driveway orniment, soon to be DD, MJ has an auto tranny, column shift. What are my options for adding a center console without moving the 4x4 shifter? Would a regular xj console work, and just have an empty space where the shifter is?

I have high hopes for a new jeep pickup. My fingers are still crossed for the Mighty FC concept to become a production model. Since that will never happen, I'll settle for a wrangler based pickup, nukaiser, or even that Cherokee Chief concept.

Are these the belts I need?
GeorgiaJeeper93 replied to GeorgiaJeeper93's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thanks for the replies. My truck is the 2.5l. I can only read the part number off of the belt with grooves. It's 150430 11AV1090. No idea what to do to get the other one. -
So the belts on my 86 Mj are dry-rotted, and I'm in need of some new ones. Problem is, I have too many options. Unfortunately I'm using my phone at the moment so I have no way to upload pictures, but I need the one that has the grooves in it, I belive it's called the v belt. I'm probably wrong on that though. I also need the smooth one. Rockauto has belts for my truck, but some day with ac, others say without and I don't know which ones I need. My truck does have factory ac, power steering, etc. Problem is, I don't know which belt is supposed to power what. Any help?

Here are some pictures of the work I've done to the truck the past few days. These are the headlights I picked up. Really excited to get them put on. I have the round ones on my TJ and I love them. these are the wheels I snagged for free. Not sure if I want to use them on either of my jeeps though. Might try to trade them for a set I like more. -
I'm in need of a few parts to finish up my MJ. Please message me with pictures and prices of anything you have. I'm in need of the following; Tail lights Rear bumper Grill Head light surrounds Hood Hood latch Doors with auto windows from xj Lwb roll bar Tail gate Wheels Thank you!

Could someone please post the parts number for the brackets I will need to mount it to my 86? I've read I may not need one, but I'd rather get one to play it safe. -

Got a few little things done to the truck today. Picked up new headlights, washed her off, new battery cable end things, oil and filter change, siphoned the gas out of the master cylinder, put brake fluid in (not bled yet), cleaned up the engine bay, started scraping off the plastidip, and scored some free wheels. -
No brakes whatsoever
GeorgiaJeeper93 replied to GeorgiaJeeper93's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Unfortunately I am not kidding. Someone actually put gasoline in the master cylinder. I will definitely be replacing all of that. I think I will take the last posters advice and also swap out the booster and master cylinder from an xj while I'm at it. -

Anyways, someone for whatever reason put gas in the master cylinder. I can only imagine what kind of damage that has caused. -
