  3. any word yet Pat?
  4. if you want to run a large tire, i would lower it a little and just cut the fenders.
  5. i would guess 10in or so. why so tall?
  6. got the leafs in and done. just got to make some shock mounts and it will be finished.
  7. i would go for sure. never been there with the truck. ive been there multiple time with my ATV though. maybe we can con some other people into showing up... cough...pat...cough
  8. do it! :D I'd have to find some place to hide it. :brows: We're already "overcrowded" 4 Jeeps 3 BMW's And her Chevy Lumina Plus 2 BMW's in storage out of state she doesn't even know about.... WOW! thats a lot of vehicles
  9. I'm hitting Mccaslin Mtn for sure next spring/summer. as well as the Badlands and maybe Silver Lake in Michigan. maybe we can have a Wisconsin meet and greet at Mccaslin Mtn. 8)
  10. do it! :D
  11. here is a nice looking MJ with a 350 installed on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Jee ... dZViewItem
  12. it has the rare, backwards lettering tires! 8)
  13. i think that is the look he was going for
  14. ..exactly. I drive 55mph, approx. 36 miles one way, daily and would like to you know, not have to peg it to the floor. it'll get an engine upgrade as well, since the xj is in pretty good shape, I don't think I should look for another one (I have...about $900 invested in it right now and no rust-through/minimal surface rust...and the investment goes down once I sell the 90 xj since that was part of the trade). so I'm thinking upgrade the 3800 to a supercharged 3.8...which will need all new mounts and such...and then put the 3800 in the xj I also have my air tank/HD rear bumper from TNT that just needs the ends extended to match the xj body, and I'll be installing a dual swingout tire carrier...tire on left swing, gerry cans/water/tow rope/shackles on right, with the hi-lift below them across the bumper. the right swingout will be removable so that I can add a second spare tire should I need to. dual spare tires, just what you need
  15. you sure do like driving over thing don't you. :chillin:
  16. yeah its better than driving a mini-van, but i still don't like it.
  17. YIKES!
  18. glad your ok. jeeps can be replace, people can't.
  19. the only thing that you should worry about when looking for parts is the years. 86, 87-90, 91-92 are the different engines years. the model of the comanche doesn't effect anything.
  20. thats way to much. if you bought it, by the time you put a lift and tires on it, it would be worth $10,000! I would pay $4000 tops for it.
  21. to get my 231 into low, it usually has to be in park. if it still doesn't go, i'll throw the tranny into Reverse then quickly into Neutral, then shift into low.
  22. whoops forgot about that pic. never mind.
  23. did it say something on the hood? good technique by the way 8)
  24. yeah, it goes to all the threads that you have a post in, which is what i think he was looking for.
