  1. TJs don't have leaf springs, YJs do... Mustve hit the wrong letter :peek: as for a turbo diesel swap it time consuming and not as easy on the wallet as one may think but it could be fun and being able to say you did the work and it runs on veggie oil is just that much cooler adding onto the fact your driving a jeep with a bed
  2. 19? I thought it was 18 in canada!
  3. Happy belated birthday Pete! Jan 12th is my half birthday :clapping:
  4. Ive been drooling over them  but my hours got cut at work and I'm a poor college kid :smart: ill go the cheap route and deal with a less than stellar ride

    Snow pics.

Ive got a few  and here's me and my friend enjoying an empty parking lot
  6. If your going to SOA the rear might as well get 4.5" coils from any off-road company they're not that much.. ~160 for both and your grill won't be staring at the ground
  7. Thanks for the heads up! I can't put the lift on until all the now melts and I get my drivetrain-less camaro out of the broken asphalt spot I call a driveway so I have a while
  8. If I could own a swb 2wd Manche I'd make it a sweet street truck with either a 318 or 360 in it I already have a 43 cj-2a but one day I'd like to have a fsj Cherokee
  9. Nice^ and I loaded mine up with tires too... A sweet set of (5) 33/12.5s can't wait to slap em on
  10. I'm pretty sure rock krawler has a lifetime warranty too :brows: I would look into Ironrockoffroad-IRO as well -Nick
  11. Yes I have 235/75/15s on my 15x8 cragar soft 8s with 4" of backspacing
  12. 18 here been around my manche since birth! Does that take the cake?
  13. They'll fit fine on the 15x7s... They'll be a little taller and the 15x8 should give you a flatter tread, whichever you prefer they'll both work
  14. Welcome! That's a nice lookin Jeep
  15. I'm assuming you're staying SUA and maybe sporting 31s?.. After 3 inches you should get lcas and a new adjustable trackbar.. As for brakelines I would change them out for some chevy k1500 rears ~$25 and any extended ones for the front... I'm not sure how much lift the Dakota leaf pack will give you but if you want a very flexy rear try to add more skinnier leafs... Think of it as bending 20 straws compared to 4-5 metal forks Edit: tcase drops lower the back of your drivetrain so cylinders 1-2 are higher than the rest and getting less oil..plus manche driveshafts are longer so we don't need a drop or SYE unless you lift it real high Jeep on -Nick
  16. I was looking at those but I wanted to double check and make sure they're the right lentgh Thanks!
  17. I want a set of duratracs myself! Just goto any tire place and get them balanced and mount them yourself... Saves you some money
  18. Might be going to pickup a set of 5 33/12.5s today... Then I needa do my SOA and I'll be sitting tall and proud! It's a weird feeling because I'm so close but so far time wise because I need more paychecks :help: I'm also stuck on what to get for shocks... I'm not looking for the best ride but I don't want to feel like I'm driving a school bus. I plan on using rockyroads bolt-on soa... I'm not going to be rockracing or entering the baja1000 so don't bring up the bolt on argument.. here's my specs to help determine what length shocks I should get: Rocky road Bolt on SOA on a Dana44 with stock 4x4 leafs Thanks in advance -Nick Edit: here's everything ive collected for my lift, I'm under $500 bucks including the tires :brows: Front lift parts( Thanks again Sinkrun ) and here's my new to me 33/12.5s ( if you squint hard enough you can see my CC sticker on the top right  )
