those lawn darts are bad dudes haha. and ive been trying to get my bike fixed up for riding to now that its summer, but its a slow process and I'm almost better off buying a new bike haha.

did you cut the interior door handle off?

Its really not so bad. I'm sure it would be rough to try to make it run, but its a decent frame. it would be nice to set it down on anothe frame and see what happened :thumbsup: but itl be a while til i can do anything with it.

there was no reason where i cut it. i just taped a general cut on the door, said that looked good, and cut it. Thats the kinda work i like :thumbsup: did you make another one to match it yet?

why did you stop chopping where you did? they still seem a little tall for half doors. what caused you to have to stop?

My cousin inherited this truck from her dad. It was apparently something army related, it says JEEP TRUCK on the interior, and is a 4wd. i should have pics up later today. anyone knwo anything about these bad dudes? all i know is they are sexy :yes:

My '82 dart does that, but its just because i havent put my four barrell edlebrock on there yet :dunno: The dart is carburated so it doesnt relate very much to fuel injection, but it may have something to do with your passing gear linkage :dunno:

the same guy i got my mj from had (among alot of other things) a '65 ford firetruck. That thing was a bad dude, but in rough shape and i didnt have a practicle use for it :dunno:

So you used a paint roller like you paint the inside of a house with? My uncle did that with some candy apple red on his f250 :doh: it looked really bad. Does yours look rough up close? It looks fine from where it is but it seems like it would have to be rough up close :dunno: With that color it shouldnt be bad though :thumbsup:

They say different things on the can, but they look the same, work the same, and feel the same. If you want to use it you can, but my headliner is doing great and it has been hot, especially sence my truck is black. Use what you want though i won't argue about it. I just hope mine stays :yes:

that stuff is basically the same stuff as super 77, and super 77 says its good for headliners on the can. you just have to make sure you use it right. don't just spray it on there and stick the fabric to it, spray it on the headliner, and on the back of the fabric, then let it sit for about a minute until its "tacky" to touch, then stick them together :thumbsup:

mine was covered with electric tape when i got it... it still is :banana: its not too bad looking and doesnt draft at all. but that outer boot for 7 dollars looks like the kinda deal i need :yes:

no lol don't try to help it come up while it comes up. after it pops up, pull the release again and push the pedal up some more, that way it will contact the metal thing and make the light go off. if thats your problem you can just make the little metal tab longer :thumbsup:

AMC's Javeline was a pretty bad dude too. I don't know much about them but they are dead sexy :yes:

i have done something similar. the relay is bad in mine and i didnt wanna take the tilt column a part (its a pain) so i tested all the wires in hooking up to the wiper motor and figured out what they did, then i put robbers on them (so i didnt destroy the connection to the original switch) and ran wires back into my cab. i ran those to a three way switch (up for low sped, down for high speed, and middle for off) and a small push button (wiper fluid. i mounted those into a small plastic interior piece from an old car (it happened to match my interior) and viola :D now i just flip a switch for wipers and push a button for fluid. only problem is i have to turn the wipers off when their at the bottom or they sit in the middle of my windsheild, but its still better than nothing. one day i will tear into the tilt column and fix it right, but for now it works fine :thumbsup:

everything else thats wrong with that zj aside, why would you want corvette tails in your bumper if you still had jeep tails where they belong? this is a tremendous waste of time and money, and i hope the owner is stuck with it so he learns his lesson to never do this to anything ever again.

almost drove it into a brand new bmw head on at 70 :rotf: :rotf: there was an army hum vee on on the interstate and he was driving slow. passed the car following him, folowed him for a minute then pulled out to pass him. i threw my truck down in fourth and gunned it. i pulled around him and he took it personally :dunno: he got faster and so did i, but he was driving toward nothing, i was driving toward a brand new bmw :ack: i pulled out before i put the beamer in any dangerr but i still managed to irritate the driver. it was a fun little game of chicken, which i actually one sence the beamer got on the shoulder wayyyy before i got to him :banana:
