  1. renix 4.7 in my xj with 37s and 5.13s 8 goofing off and hauling the mail. 15 usually on the highway and my best was 17 mpg driving to Moab. not too shabby I think since some guys have trouble getting that with much smaller tires and a 4.0 looking forward to modding this motor some more an swapping it in the MJ
  2. internal or external slave? When mine went out (internal) and I replaced it with a brand new one, it went out 1500 miles later. that sucked. IDK which ones are the "cheap" ones but apparently the only one they had at Advance Auto Parts was a "cheap" one. I now have an external setup on a nv3550. Good Luck :wrench:
  3. got any more pics of those hoops from the top side, like engine compartment view?
  4. that'll never work. just ship the stuff to me and I will "dispose" of it for you. ;)
  5. Got my first gen Smittybuilt for $250. Its worked the couple times I've used it. *ForestGumpvoice* thats all I have to say about that. :D
  6. I rocked a water bed till about 7 months ago. Loved it. now I have a boring old mattress and can't sleep at night so I'm here on CC posting up at 3 am. :(
  7. JD2 with an 1.75 die. I love it, having a bender just opens up new possibilities. Mines mounted on the back deck currently!
  8. what axles is it getting? can't quite tell by that picture...
  9. Love it or hate it, I don't care! Needs my Dring tabs and one tube between them on bottom, and finish welding.
  10. The new Crush orange on the JKs is my current favorite, or the Moab Red from the later TJs...
  11. at least he got it built and out there, thats half the battle
  12. i havent seen him but was wondering. the modified stock class raced last Sunday
  13. good thing you had that big ol fat wallet you posted up a couple weeks ago
  14. TJ rears on all four corners look pretty nice IMHO.
  15. :rotfl2: dunno yet. This thing has only seen loose dirt/rocky roads and snow. I havent aired them down to do any real wheeling yet. They seemed to hook up decently on the loose dirt/ rocky roads but it wasnt anything really extreme or crazy.
  16. I used to have one of those power inverters in my XJ to run the microwave when I went camping. lol
  17. Since I'm currently jobless, I decided to build a bumper or two! Started with the front and hammered this out today. Hopefully Friday I'll "finish" it for now. I still need a press for my dimple dies. I've got some D-ring tabs coming in the mail, the bumper mounts themselves are LII products, and to finish it off its going to get some bug eye hoops going out and around the headlights like what on my XJ. Its not a winch bumper, but I believe I left enough room on top to make it one later down the road, but I doubt I will.
  18. x2, those things are :chillin:
